Super clean and comfortable, not to mention the groovy theme. No detail overlooked. The pool and grounds were great too.
Parking spaces were a little tight between the rows for a large SUV. But we did find adequate parking so it wasn’t an issue.

The rooms are so much fun (disco ball!) but they’re also really well designed and comfortable. The best lighting of any hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff are lovely and the on-site restaurant ( breakfast and lunch only) was so handy. Really easy to get into town - the bus trip was short and close by.
The pool, hot-tub and sauna area were always full of kids yelling, jumping and splashing so there was no chance to use them and quietly.

I chose the Zed as a fun getaway with my adult daughter. I chose it for the retro decor and the great stay we had at another Zed.
Not that this can be helped on your end, but the constant sirens, and early construction noise was deafening. We stayed in room 350 which had a bed in the main area and a king room. The king room had no air conditioning, and a fan would have been a lifesaver. Earplugs recommended for the traffic and sirens. I had hoped there would be a bar/restaurant on site as there are not any food options nearby except for the KFC sharing the parking space with the Zed.
