Close to old Monterey downtown, less than 15 mins to Monterey Conference Centre on foot. Room was large, bed was very comfortable. Prices competitive considering it was end of the Labor Day holiday and conference season. There was a pool and hot tub available, but I didn't get a chance to use it. The hotel also offers a complimentary glass of wine in the evening.
The decor is a little dated, but everything was working including the air conditioning. Hot breakfast but fairly basic, however it met my needs.
