Very roomy and comfortable. A great place to relax. We had a small balcony that overlooked a beautiful creek below. It was walking distant to the wharf and all of the town center. Parking was plentiful and easy to get in and out. We weren't there for very long, but we'd stay there again because it's well-located, very clean, and very roomy and comfortable.
More soap in the bathroom and a bit more protein in the continental breakfast. Perhaps some cold cuts and cheese.

Very clean and had everything we needed. The best hotel in Monterey!!! The lady at the front desk was very nice!! Every time I go to Monterey I will be booking a stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. !!!

Very clean and nice room
Fairly centrally located in a nice neighbourhood
Late check out and decent breakfast
They really look after this place and keep it in tip top shape
Good value for money too
Bit of a walk to Cannery Row, so not for you if you don’t like a walk or are less mobile

Location was perfect - walkable to center of town and venue for our event. Room was clean, bed comfortable, towels soft, and continental breakfast quite good. Kitchen facilities (microwave and fridge, both mini) looked fine though we didn't use them.
The room appears not to have been renovated since it opened. No air conditioning, no daytime privacy window treatments (just blackout curtains); faucets rickety; bathroom vanity very low; card-keys extremely finicky (we swapped ours and saw others at front desk doing same, but even new ones took many tries to work).
