The inn had lovely character, especially in the dining room. The place was clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly, and Kelsi went out of her way to provide for us when the initial coffee supply in the room was limited. The location is very convenient to all the main shops and also only steps away from the Rideau Canal & River.
We are fairly fit, but the 3 long sets of stairs could be an issue for some...though worth the climb. Guests should be prepared for the possibility of parking a block or so away, if street parking is full...but at least it is free. There is a lovely courtyard but it is worth noting that it isn't available for guests (or at least not when a wedding is on). We didn't get the quoted price by Booking.com; but since it was only $10+tax more, and they were short-staffed, we didn't bother raising an issue.

Right in the midst of everything! Dinner was excellent and the accommodations were as advertised.
The air conditioner was very loud and difficult to understand how to operate.

Location was good! Two chairs in room good!
Stairs were challenging. Room was small . No view. No balcony.
