Perfect suite in a beautiful area. Ideal location to explore Tofino.

Beautiful suite in a beautiful area. Stunning views from the deck and only a few minutes walk to the beach. The suite has everything you could possibly need and Bobbi was a perfect host. Loved our stay. Would highly recommend.

Tofino is magical, and the black bear guest house only heightened this beautiful trip. Truly incredible

Amazing! The house had great amenities and ambiance. Cozy but spacious and in a great location. Bobbi and her family were very kind and accommodating. Would recommend anyone to stay at Black bear guest house. Truly one of the best bookings I’ve ever stayed at.

I’d stay again.

Excellent proximity to the beach. Kitchen had everything you could need. The living area was large and comfortable.

We loved everything about it!

My husband and I stayed in the queen studio for 4 nights. It was immaculate and cute as can be. There was lots of attention to detail, and things like the robes, blankets, and bath products were high quality. Bobbi was awesome and very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would have liked is a microwave to heat our leftovers, but she did offer to let us use the kitchen in the other studio. The property was lovely and private and perfectly located. We loved every thing about it!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely and peaceful guesthouse.

Everything in our room was presented in a most charming and warm way. It's impressive how the space available is arranged in a very practical and yet extremely charming way. We loved the place and at this time of the year it's very reasonably priced.

Since the owners were not at home when we arrived it was not immediately clear where we were to go. We took a chance by walking into the guest room that seemed available because the door was unlocked.

Great location (walking distance to South Chesterman Beach), cozy room, and comfortable bed. If only the weather was better, views from the deck would be better. Chocolates as a welcome gift were a nice touch :)

The Blackbear Guesthouse was absolutely beautiful and spacious - in an awesome location directly across from Chesterman beach & an 8 min drive into town! The hosts were super helpful with timely responses. We absolutely loved our stay here & we’ll definitely be back :)

We planned for a day of biking - however, when we went to use them, the chains were quite rusted and one of the seats were torn. Not a huge deal as they were offered for free, but unfortunately we couldn’t use them!

A lovely guest house within minutes walk to big surf, awesome sunsets, and sandy beaches.

We loved this little suite, and the location was perfect for our short visit to Tofino. This guest house has a beautifully laid out suite, and is a very convenient location for those that love to walk the beaches, watch the sunset, or play in the surf at Chesterman's. There is a boardwalk to the left of the property that leads to a small deck overlooking the ocean, on the eastern side of the peninsula, with a nice panoramic view. Bobbi is a wonderful, courteous, and helpful host, and we highly recommend staying at her guest house. We would gladly return!

Our only complaint was that the bed is not comfortable for those with sore and ailing backs.

Perfect location, cozy, and a hot tub to top it off!

The hot tub and location were our favourite things about this property! They had bikes for us to borrow and it was 2 minutes to the beach. Super clean and fully equipped!

We would have loved for there to be more mirrors outside of the bathroom and a dryer for all of our wet clothes and towels.

A prefect getaway in a secluded and private accomodation.

TY for the stay at your fine accommodation and it was quiet and very clean. The price was affordable and parking was a bonus along with the Expresso machine. We are coming again next year and will book in advance with you. TY again Vanessa and Lawrence

Fantastic stay, can't wait to return.

Fantastic stay at the Black Bear, the location was fantastic - less than 10 minutes by car to the center of town. It was nice and quiet, very clean and the amenities were great. Having in suite-laundry was fantastic. The water front patio seating was a great way to spend the mornings overlooking the inlet. The hosts were lovely and happy to top up our coffee in the mornings :) Would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Tofino!

We loved our time at the Black Bear Guesthouse and Tofino and would return in a nano second.

The location was perfect for us, in a quiet neighbourhood, close to all amenities and the beach just a short walk away. Everything was as described. We enjoyed the use of the barfridge, coffee maker and kettle. There were some very thoughtful touches like raincoats.

Nice spot, terrible bed that needs the mattress replaced and need to do something about noise and parking

Very clean, close to town

The bed was extremely uncomfortable/ the parking was terrible( our vehicle ended up being jammed beside a can in the driveway and couldn’t even get out the passenger door/ a nightmare trying to get out. Most importantly we were kept awake until 11:30 PM by the sound of childrens voices and stomping: walking on the floor above our bed

Lovely place but more communication and clarity on the 2 suits and hot tub would be beneficial.

Convenient. The property was amazing! Loved that there was no tv and there was coffee.

There are 2 rentals on the same page and it was confusing. Super disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t included in the cedar suite. That was one of the reasons why I booked it. There was no instructions prior to arriving, we just kinda opened a door and hoped for the best.

Looked of an overnight stay as we wanted to get up early to go Bella Pacifica RV resort to pre-book

Location was excellent. Good value for money. Stayed in the Cedar room and it had everything that we needed. It was caringly decorated and gives the impression of 5 star plus accommodation
