The location was fantastic, couldn't be more convenient. The beds were extremely comfortable! The room when we arrived was clean, despite the age of things. The rooms are also very spacious and well laid out.
There was zero housekeeping, even when we requested it twice. We had to go down to the desk for toilet paper and towels after our 3rd day. I had to take out our own trash. They never took our dirty towels, despite us asking, so we had a pile up of dirty, damp towels in the bathroom under the sink. The shower head in our room was quite old and rusty, as was the bathtub drain. Broken fixtures in the bathroom, which had no towel rails or hooks on which to hang towels (I can see where a hook used to be, in the torn finish on the back of the bathroom door). The staff were very kind but also didn't have a lot of helpful information -- we were able to sort things on our own via the internet or the visitors centre.

The location was great - it was close to lots of restaurants and downtown attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had very large rooms and was good value. The TV channel selection was good and it would be easy to connect to streaming services from their platform.
The walls were a bit thin, so you could hear people above and sometimes in neighbouring rooms, but earplugs fixed that. The rooms are basic, but if you're just using it as a base to explore Whitehorse and aren't worried about the basic rooms and slightly dated furniture, it is a solid choice.

The location is good, walk to everything. Large rooms. Good last minute discount price.
Older beds with springs you can feel. Unpleasant musty smell, heavily stained carpet. Needs a deep clean.
