It was the last night of our road trip and some of the places we had stayed were mildly disappointing. What a delight to end our vacation at the Wessex. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Good location close to the park and shops, ice cream etc and very quiet
Appreciate the free water
Nice to have chairs to sit on outside, nice tv
People had to come in and measure the bathroom midday and even though it was quick it was still disruptive as we were trying to nap.
Very outdated room but I assume thatâs because we had a dog with us. Just didnât feel that clean (the toilet bowl, dusty wall hangings etc)
