Cheap, available, good location, run down, poor communication

The location is good. I booked on the same day and it was the cheapest option at $50 (I’m a back pack traveller so budget is a big deal - this still felt quite expensive) I was greatful they had availability on the day.

The only member of staff I met I presume is the owner. Her way of communicating was forceful and argumentative. I have to bite my tongue saying pretty much anything after the first few sentences. The facilities are dated - burn marks on the sheets - worn out blankets but I did think they were clean. The mixed dorm room is cramped with creaky metal bunk beds.

The location is nice because of the closeness to downtown.

Rooms to small for the amount of people sleeping in one room. Weird smell sheet weren't dirty but not super clean at the same time.

there were no restrooms on the level we stayed on, the owner/manager was rushing us out before check out on the morning we left, the beds weren’t very comfortable.

Location is good but has no parking space for guests.

Very unclean place, bad smell and very unprofessional staff with bad English and poor communication. The owner of the place is very unfriendly, rude and has poor customer service manners. I don’t recommend this place to my worst enemies.

Terrible, not coming back.

Only the location because it was close to the Hot Sands Beach

Everything else. The bed/room/place. Everything looked dirty. Stain on the bedsheets everywhere, so it was hard to trust if it was even clean. The caretaker keeps coming back and checking on us making sure that we are not doing anything "wrong" so NO privacy whatsoever. She even opens one of my family's room and check, who does that?

Terrible.

Location is not too bad.

Place was questionable from security point. Everything is very old including building, appliances and furniture. Host was pushy to make me sign papers to secure her money. Also because wildfires I asked for refund, she refused and stated that it is so cheap like it costs only a penny to stay. When I said it is in fact cheaper, but if you do not use the service at all and paying for it, it is expensive, she pretended that did not understand. She made other person who used property to fix her door, and I witnessed when he pissed off and threw screwdriver saying that he paid to stay not to fix her stuff. All together place to avoid.

Dirtiest room ever seen

No AC, no windows, room made in garage backside of house, full of insects, I slept in my car. Worst experience ever had. I had my wife and little daughter with me. We all slept in car. Not got refund aswell
