Staff were very friendly, room was comfortable and had what was needed. Aircon was good and easy to control. Bed was comfortable.
Unfortunately for the hotel the location lets it down. Just be careful when walking to and from the hotel.

The hotel was in a good location. It was an easy walk to the convention center, to Union Square, to the old streetcar…. The hotel was reasonably priced considering the price level of San Francisco. Our room was surprisingly large and the shower worked well. The hotel staff was friendly; special thanks to a person named Punya who helped me with my key problems
The carpets in both the rooms and hallways were worn and made the floors look dirty (even though they weren't). The lighting in the room was poor.

The staff was amazing. They were quick to help address issues and provide useful recommendations.
The bed wasn't very comfortable. This could have been a matter of personal choice. I favor softer mattresses, and this was decidedly firm. Additionally, fridge was "off" which made me believe when I arrived that it was broken. They quickly replaced the unit, but while I can appreciate being not as cold, while the room was not in use, off meant hours before it reached a safe temperature.

It was a decent room, with a large bathroom, and had everything I needed; bed, desk, controllable climate, and 24/7 access. So for a functional, comfortable room to get a good night's sleep - it supplied just fine.
Window overlooked the central alley/AC units and pigeon nests.
Carpet, in and out of room, clearly needs replacing.
