The room had a nice double glass door to the balcony which had a pretty view of the area. It was also nicely decorated, we were very pleased with the hotel. The valet staff and service was excellent!

Location
I booked and paid in advance for a room with two beds as we were three people, on arrival they said it was not available!!! They said I could have an upgrade to a room with one bed which in fact cost the same as the two bed room so was not an upgrade. They then proceeded to give us half a glass each of flat champagne from the dregs of what was left in a bottle at reception, as if this made up for anything. On getting into the room it wasn’t big enough for another bed comfortably so I called reception to say I wasn’t happy. She assured me that they would provide a real upgrade this time, a room double the size and reassured me that she would meet us at the room to move us. She never came!! My husband had to go down to be told it no longer existed. Another option was to separate us into two rooms!! Why come on holiday together. The first day after returning at 3pm the room had not been cleaned. Five times we called reception they did not answer. Finally got the room cleaned more time wasted. We booked to relax in luxury. The Spa and pool were closed, room awful, service terrible. I will not be back. Credit on a room does not compensate for failing to provide what was booked and when you can’t provide it failing to offer a real upgrade. If I wanted a junior suite with one bed I could have booked it for the same price. I didn’t as I wanted two proper beds.
