A lovely hotel in the heart of New York

I picked this hotel for the location as I was working in the area so I could walk to all my appointments.

I didn't think the breakfast was very good. Limited choice.

NYC BELLISSIMA, ma troppo freddo

Hotel nuovo e ben posizionato. Dimensione della stanza accettabile per NYC

La prima sera abbiamo dovuto cambiare stanza in quanto il rumore dell’ascensore ci impediva di dormire. Il cambio è avvenuto all’1 del mattino, ma senza problemi da parte dell’hotel. Inoltre, non c’è un sistema di riscaldamento vero e proprio…praticamente è risc/condiz insieme ed è difficile avere una temperatura costante: o troppo caldo o fraddo

I have been unable to get a folio from Booking.com upon several attempts to get a folio- calling after 30 days, and being told there's nothing "BOOKING".com can do. Ridiculous and terrible customer experience. Now I'm out over $1,600 because it was booked through a mysterious "Partner" out of Hong Kong?

I spend more than 100 nights a year at a 5 star hotels around the world, this is the worst one.

Nothing but the location

Room had terrible noise from pipes in the wall. In two of the four days we came back to the room in the evening to find that the room was not clean yet. We paid for four people but had only water and towels for two every day. Windows were terribly dirty. Front office promised to call back on my calls but never did.

Overall stay was very good

Property was a significant upgrade on the Parker Meridien where I stayed 150+ nights. Life Time was great, if only temporary Great to see the old Normas staff Shower much better, though still leaked Very comfortable bed

Front desk only offered a one hour extra for late check out (used to be 4pm) Wine and food offering is better than before but still quite expensive e.g, avocado toast $29, glass of wine $26

Very friendly staff, warm atmosphere, was easy to feel at home here. The room was great and enjoyed the Central Park view. Clean rooms and very comfortable bedding.

Best location, awesome staff, beautiful hotel

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The location could not be beat and the ambiance in the hotel lobby was perfect. Really loved it!

Comfy stay and no hassle check in/ out. Very expensive for the size of room.

Nous avions réservé 2 chambres 2 lits doubles our 4 adultes chacune, La taille des lits 120 cm était beaucoup trop petite pour 2 adultes

Fantastico

Excelente ubicacion. El check in check out muy rapido, muy bien. El restaurante de hamburguesas y el bar fantastico. Buena cafetera en la habitacion y cafes muy ricos. La cama comodisima.

Las ventanas estaban sucias ( planta sexta). Los armarios son para un fin de semana, muy poco espacio , sobre todo si estas mas de una semana y es invierno. Dos abrigos ocupan todo espacio. Tampoco hay cajones ( solo tres pequeñitos y dos diminutos en las mesillas de noche). Nos sorprendio esto, porque nuestra habitacion Junior Suite era grande y con mucho espacio que se podria utilizar para guardar cosas ( por ejempo en el mueble debajo de la tele).

Peu d’efforts pour communiquer avec des touristes parlant mal l’anglais Pas de place réservée pour les clients de l’hôtel (notamment pour le petit déjeuner) mélange avec les clients extérieurs Trop peu d’informations lorsqu’il y a une soirée musique privée où les clients de l’hôtel ne sont pas acceptés et donc le bar leur est inaccessible

Chuveiro poderia ser mais forte, mas não comprometeu a qualidade. Só a taxa do serviço de quarto que me pareceu desproporcional, mas ainda assim recomendo.

Let down by selling rooms not available

Great breakfast and staff

Didn’t get the room I booked tried to pass me off with 2 different options versus being honest. Wouldn’t have booked with them had I known so felt very duped.

Pleasant but not value for money

The second day of my stay I was locked out of the room cause they couldnt charge me the amount on the credit card due to a problem they had with the cards in general!

Superb

Great location, nice room. Helpfull staff. Bar with live music. Overall clean and comfortable.

Noisy aircondition, also noise from the vents one floor below, or I don't know from where. Really dirty windows. One concierge was nice (asian) another rude.

Our hotel of choice going forward in NYC!

This is a wonderful hotel. We will come back. It's very pleasant and elegant and the personnel is very good and efficient. The rooms are beautiful and well designed, very comfortable. There is a very good Jazz bar on the ground floor and the very famous burger joint! The location is also perfect to visit NY.

The beds were smaller than we expected. We said so and the reception agreed to upgrade us to a junior suite versus a reasonable increase in price which was perfect for our family of four. Overall the hotel is fairly priced, just be wary that basic double beds could be below your initial expectations compared to other hotels.

Superb

Check in staff did not explain everything to the customer all they care about is the credit card. For example they did not tell us that the breakfast on the lounge is only free and on the ground floor is not free .

Very bad management and customer service. Tired and noisy hotel, particularly for the price.

Good location.

Noisy from construction across the street. Relatively tired looking at least on 7th floor. I always use hotel fitness facilities wherever I stay and after I got there they advised it would be closed for some of the days during my stay. I found that out when I arrived home midday for a workout and found a notice in my room. The notice suggested calling the manager if I had a problem with the closure. I called three times and was always told that the manager would call back. I never got a call, but wasted a half hour waiting. I went down in the morning to see the manager, who did come out after a short wait. Said he had a note that it had been handled and I had been given options. Completely untrue. I told him I was heading out for the morning and he took my mobile number and said he would call me and make sure it was handled fairly. He never called. At checkout I told the attendant that the manager had said he would call me back but did not. He said I could leave and he would not finalize the bill until he talked with the manager. A few hours later I got the bill, unadjusted. No note. No apology. I would suggest that you give this hotel a miss. Particularly at this price point. I rarely leave a review, positive or negative. But this time I really feel I owe it to others to warn of this hotel, and in particular the managers. Given the level of incompetence (or dishonesty) I saw at this hotel, take any response they give to this review with a grain of salt (unless it is an apology).

Beautiful but LOUD

The room was extremely clean and well designed. It was a beautiful room inside. Everything was new and updated and very modern. And I thought the little stool and round table in the corner serving as a "desk" was absolutely genius and cute, saved a ton of space, yet still functional and served its purpose. The shower door being halved off and the sliding door to close the bathroom was extremely well thought of too.

Our room was next to some kind of cleaning staff entrance. Early morning I'd hear doors slamming shut as the housekeeping staff walked in and out. It was extremely stressful! I went to NY to relax and yet I had the worst sleep there. Rooms are so bad with sound proofing! And the pillows are way too soft. My neck hurt all 3 nights. Even my young daughter said they were too soft. And the location was horrid. Facing an alley. But nothing compared to the slamming of the doors early morning. I will never book with them again.

Nice rooms - horrible service

Nice and newly renovated

Slippery bathtub - actually fell in there. Staff was 50/50 either rude,unhelpful and slow as snails or very nice and helpful! Unfortunately the rude ones ruined it for us!
