The location was great and very close to all the shops and restaurants in Fisherman’s Wharf

I expected more - we were at another chain hotel (which j would consider less fancy) in SF for 3 days prior to this and then 3 nights here. We preferred the last hotel and breakfast. The Riu breakfast was soooo crowded ! Didn’t feel nice. Room was pleasant but no view just the roads, music and shouting at night from
outside, and one night we had to call reception as someone upstairs was being super loud. Lobby and pool looked nice and they have heated fire places.
It’s a maze, as it’s on 2-3 floors but spread out. Gym was quite small but ok. Breakfast was nice with options but way too crowded. Location was noisy at night with random people outside shouting. As this was an up market hotel, it was nice but I expected better sorry!

Location EXCELLENT. The free/included buffet was a disorganized mess and I ate elsewhere as a result. No customization or staff available at the buffet area. No other restaurant on the premises. Beautiful lobby when you first arrive.
The free/included buffet was just a hot mess. No other dining facility on premises. Bathroom design made using the room restroom difficult. The door opening was awkward and difficult. Best solution was to leave the door open and no that's not ideal. Would not stay there again. Kids at the pool sounded like they were in the room and hallway noise was atrocious. There is no sound mitigation at all.
