Our stay in NOLA was only a one day one night stay. We, my brother, my daughter and I, wanted to go to the World War II Museum, so we decided to make the short trip. We live in Mississippi. The hotel is in the perfect location, a very short walk. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good and considering the hotel is in the art district, it was quieter than I expected. When we first arrived we did notice a few homeless people, but they didn’t bother us and they cleared out when the sun started going down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The one thing I didn’t like about the property was the parking. Even though parking is literally right behind the hotel, you have to pay. That’s why we decided to stay at that hotel. It’s a short walk to the museum and restaurants. I’ve been to NOLA quite a bit over the years. I have ex-in-laws who still live there and I remember when you could park anywhere and it didn’t cost you. One other thing I didn’t like was putting up a $100 deposit. I very rarely travel anymore, but when I do I have never had to pay a deposit. As I write this review, it hasn’t been quite a week yet since our stay, so I haven’t received my deposit back yet. They say the deposit will be returned in seven days, we’ll see if that’s true or not in a few days.

Was not told I would have to pay with taxes 48 dollars a day for parking!! My cousins had to move to another room due to bed bugs. Our room was nice except for the squeaking bathroom door. There were smoking areas without ash trays and no umbrellas. There was also a big rat that I told the staff about who is living inside the wall in the smoking area.

Nice staff and clean facility
No decent parking, My car was hit and run . Private parking they are affilatrd with has a sign “Park at youre Own risk , Imagine 40 usd a night.
