Great location, wonderful property, decor was modern, beds really comfortable. Parking available on street outside property

Everything! Exceptional period hotel, has retained a lot of its period features, our room the Gosbey, featured a stained glass window, a fire place ( which we didn't need) and a balcony.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Continental breakfast with a variety to suit all tastes. Free wine and cheeseboard between the hrs of 4 -6 pm was a lovely touch.
The hotel is old and the plumbing is a bit inconsistent but this just added to the quirkiness of the hotel.
Great location yards from many bars restaurants and shops.
A short leisurely walk takes you down to Lovers Point where you can walk the coastal path to Monterey Bay or walk the opposite direction to the lighthouse Point Pinos
Nothing! The stairs are a bit steep, I would recommend a ground floor room if you have difficulty walking.

The property was beautiful, the room was airy and welcoming.
The road was noisy, the windows were obviously the originals so no soundproofing.
