Good value. Close to Pebble Beach, 17-mile drive, Monterey Aquarium, and the beach at Carmel.
When booking, ask for a ground floor room if elderly, as there is no elevator.
We were placed in a room which accommodated wheelchairs which made life very easy even though neither of us use a wheelchair much.
Another old property kept up quite well. Clean, but worn, like much of Carmel-Monterey.
I cannot think of any improvements. The East Indian lady who was at the desk was extremely pleasant and helpful.
One needs to make arrangements for a late arrival, as it is not a 24hr office.

Pretty and beautiful inn just off Monterey Bay
Very comfortable bed
Large parking lot
Not really a walking distance from town

Convenient location – close to downtown. The motel looks nice from the outside. Our room had two beds, was quite spacious, and most importantly – very clean with no odors. The furniture is in good condition.
The renovation is outdated, though the furniture itself looks fine (a dark room, dated decor, torn curtains)
