Location and staff were excellent.
There was significant noise from the street and nearby clubs. Despite being on the 8th floor, I was awakened around 2–3 a.m. several nights in a row. I reported the issue to the hotel, and they moved me to another room, which resolved the problem. The hotel was very accommodating.

Amazing staff and breakfasts. Very comfy beds. Beautiful decor.
It was extremely expensive as we stayed during the World Cup, but at least we were well looked after. Would have liked to be able to crack open a window for fresh air.

Breakfast was delicious. Staff excellent. Clean and updated. Location was perfect for all the venues that we wanted to see. This hotel would be perfect if you could sound proof it.
The score is lower from me, strictly due to the loudness and noise of the street down below. I had read other reviews about this noise and asked for a higher floor room , which we received. Again, staff was excellent and I was grateful. But when it came to sleeping, the car noise, horns, police sirens and revved engines from the street below was too much. Even the AC blasting could not drown out the noise below. A shame really, because the location was perfect. But I need it to be more quiet.
