Loved that we had our own private deck that just happened to be in the sun when we were eating our lunch. Loved the fireplace, too.

Not a huge issue, but we had to go next door for breakfast.

Our trip to San Fran was part of our joint birthdays + anniversary celebration. We absolutely loved our stay at the Petite Auberge. This hotel was even better than I’d expected - so full of character and such a lovely cosy place (photos don’t do it justice!). We’re so glad we stayed here rather than in a characterless standard hotel. Location meant we were within easy reach to everything and could walk to many places. Even the shower over bath was bliss. We enjoyed breakfast as well as the fab wine & snacks in the evening. All the staff we met were super helpful & friendly. Thank you for such a perfect stay - honestly one of our favourite places we have stayed in all our travels:)

Such a cute B&B - We loved the decor in the room and even got upgraded to a room with a fireplace which was lovely and would definitely recommend doing if deciding which room. The bed was very comfortable and had good-quality linen. The front of the house couldn't have been more accommodating with our luggage and the questions we had throughout our stay. We unfortunately never made it in time for the complimentary breakfast - however, the complimentary snacks and wine were such a nice touch! The location was great with many bars and restaurants within walking distance - the area also felt much safer than other streets.

The included wine and nibbles at 5:00pm was great. The free breakfast each morning was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

The room was a bit small but that was expected. The mattress on the bed was a bit soft but we slept well.

The lounge areas are beautifully furnished as was the bedroom. The glass of wine and snacks were very welcome after a big walk around San Francisco.

Bathroom quite basic given the price paid. Unfortunately the experience was let down by a very supercilious and unhelpful staff member on reception upon arrival. Other staff were more friendly but also not particularly helpful. A shame as the location and presentation are great. Edited to add - subsequent emails from the hotel were very helpful and responsive to a query, and apologised for our initial experience. Very impressive service response, we would go back on this basis,

A bit too much noise outside the inner court side. Laundry and garbage removal but otherwise no problem.
