The room was quite large and very comfortable. The location is great. The staff were excellent. The club facilities are good.
Would like perhaps a bit more frequent servicing of the room, but most hotels are no longer doing it daily. It is necessary to pay for the higher speed internet because the reg internet is way to slow.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Club Donatello. As with the first time, we thought everything about it was terrific. The room was very large. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the sofa in the sitting area. The refrigerator and the microwave made it possible for us to have breakfast in the room and make sandwiches to take with us for lunch. We went up to the "Club" floor to get coffee and tea in the mornings. The location of Club Donatello was excellent for our purposes. Its proximity to Union Square made transportation easy. We traveled by trolley, subway, bus, and cable car during our 6-day stay. I wish there were a Club Donatello in all the cities we travel to.

Rooms good sized and clean. Comfortable bed and amenities in bathroom. Parking possible and good central location.
Only one small trash can in room (in bathroom). Very loud toilet flush that can be heard from other rooms too. Gap under door allows a lot of sound in, and windows also let in a fair amount of street sound. staff upon arrival could have done a better job - no one at valet parking station for example, and no information about the hotel provided upon check-in (e.g. hotel services and amenities, check out time, etc.). I am aware this is provided on the app, but would have been nice to have been told. Club bar staff not very interested when i visited and was on their personal phone when I tried to ask questions. on-site restaurant also poor service - only a couple of people dining at tables yet had to wait 5/10 minutes to find someone to ask to sit at bar. Bar staff also were not so attentive - sat at bar for 5 minutes with barman making drinks in front of me before leaving and not taking my order. Would have expected better service from this tier of hotel.
