Location was convenient to my destination in Japantown and to BART/Caltrain. Bed was raised off the floor, so I could see if anything rolled underneath. Given the area near Union Square, it was quiet enough to sleep and work.
Room smelled when I first moved in. Fortunately, I was able to open the window to air it out. Convenient location, near good restaurants. Streets had too much fecal matter from dogowners not picking up after their pets.

The staff. One man in particular was very nice and had an interesting conversation with me and my spouse in the late evening hours.
The fan made some noises at night. Outside was also busy at all hours, loud people etc. but not something the hotel can change.

It was located in a fantastic place close to a corner store, transport. Its an older motel with charm and the continental breakfast was great.

The room was very clean. And good location. Main lobby was clean
Wasn’t happy going down for breakfast at 9 am and nothing much was left. So went down 40 min earlier the 4th day and saw one of the staff filling a plate full of baked goods . So would explain why nothing was left. The breakfast over all is really poor. And I wasn’t impressed the staff were taking all the food before the paying customers got to eat. Also our shower head was broken and we had constant toilet issues. And the stairs going upstairs are very dirty doesn’t look like they have been vacuumed in a long time. For the cost to stay here I don’t think it was worth it unfortunately
