To take a mini vacation

It’s a great place to stay. It’s right down the street to boardwalk

Disappointing

There were three beds as stated

These rooms were dirty and have not been upgraded in quite a while. Lots of people look to live here, and we weren't fully comfortable with kids. The tub was stained, and the rooms reaked of pinesol. For the price, it was not worth it at all.

Do not stay here

Nothing!! It was filthy. Felt very unsafe. Not by the beach at all like it advertised. Located in a back alley

Everything the price was ridiculous for what it was. Advertising was false it was a long way from the beach

Theocation was very close to the boardwalk

Booked two rooms, for three people (me, my mother and my nephew), was moved into one room. No WiFi. Very noisy neighbours

It had a balcony.

The Fireside in had water damage so I was moved day of. The other location (Ocean Gate)wasn’t an easy walk to the beach, further from where I needed to be, and had extremely loud auto traffic. The fella who checked me in was not very pleasant either.

A simple and central motel.

The staff were super accommodating and very vigilant with getting us sorted with a room. It was a simple hotel with parking included which was helpful as it's location was right in the heart of the CBD area. It isn't anything flash but it's location is perfect if you are checking out the pier.

The shower was a bit weak and there was a metal frame to the bed we kept hitting our feet on. But other than that it's a budget overnight style motel.

Santa Cruz bowling and boardwalk

Location is excellent

Proprietor charged an additional $20.00 for our 17 year old. Even though the room had a king bed and a full in the second room. 3 people total.

Will stay again if visiting in a smaller group.

very close to the boardwalk. manager very friendly and accommodating.

Smelled like previous occupant smoked in the room. The place has no vacancy so there wqs nowhere to move to.

Great staff and great motel near the beach.

The motel staff is very friendly and take care of their customers. They are there willing to help you. I found the room and the bathroom very clean, and the latter also contained a lot of towels. There are a couple of vending machines, useful for quick snacks or drinks. Overall the experience there was very pleasant and I hope to come back soon. I asked them a couple of unusual favors and they always replied promptly and positively. The motel position is very good, both the beach and downtown are within walking distance.

would not recommend anyone to stay here!!!

the location was good

the property was dark and horrible. smelt really badly of disinfectant. not big enough for 5 people. the bathroom was tiny. it needed a major refurb. Do NOT stay here !!!

5 minute walk to the board walk front desk was so sweet!

the bed was horrible! so hard! like sleeping on springs. bathroom could’ve been better and we lost water for a about 30 minutes with no warning. construction was happening so I get it but a warning would’ve been nice

List of places never to stay again.

parking lot is a joke, only allowed 1 parking space per room. Property mangers were crazy rude about parking room was really nasty. Never again for 300 a night

Close to Boardwalk, beds were comfortable, 2 room suite

Condition of the rooms, mold on ceiling, noise plumbing, broken toilet paper holder, clogged sink, poor parking, bad paint job, only 1 washcloth, not very clean.

it definitely wasn’t a horrible experience but I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

That it was only a block away from the boardwalk entrance.

our stay sucked! for all the reasons above. Also the incredibly drunk man in the room to the east of us, but that’s not

it’s proximity to the boardwalk and free parking

really uncleanly, patched holes in the very thin wall so you hear everything your neighbor dose and says. dried spill marks on the tables and floors. drip marks on the walls. can’t use the heater, only the a/c however it’s a drip hazard so don’t put anything on the dresser below the split level. no fan in the bathroom, just a creepy window in the shower for air. cable box hangs from the tv mounted to the wall. all this, but no coffee or continental breakfast (they scratched it off the sign so there you go). if location and free parking is all you want, and you don’t mind paying fine hotel prices for uncleanlinesses you’ve found your place!
