We had a little cottage in the back. It was spacious and clean.

It was clean and quiet; the bed was comfortable.

The check-in was quite easy and I was happy they assigned me an upstairs room upon request. The room was clean and freshly painted. I like knowing that it's family owed and run, not part of a big chain.
I've stayed here before and given it a higher rating than this time. It was definitely much noisier this time--between the nearby road and highway, and the other guests in the motel. The parking lot was tightly packed and sometimes hard to maneuver around. The room felt kind of cheap this time, with a lightswitch plate coming off, cheap, rickety furnishings, and subpar sheets and towels. The internet wifi was glitchy and often took several attempts to connect. The heat came from a wall unit that made a lot of noise.
