This hotel is good for a simple one night stay or a weekend get away to do tourist attractions in Gettysburg. They allow doggies which is definitely good. And the staff was amazing. I got stuck in traffic and arrived late after my check-in time. However they worked with me with no upcharge on the late check-in. It means a lot.
I was not made aware of the $15 per pet fee until I turned my key in. I was able to make it work no problem. If you have a pet, make sure to have the pet fee money on hand.

Place was very clean for a older place.
No do not disturb signs. They came in took our towels never placed them. 3 people 1 towel for a day. The door didn't shut well. Dead bolt didn't work.

Location was great, would stay here again
Did not have easy cell phone or tablet plug charging hook up on night table like most hotels. Was glad I brought from home my charging stripe to plug into the wall.

There was no breakfast, free coffee which was weak and tasted terrible. The only thing I liked was that it was pet friendly but they charged $15 extra when I was already paying an inflated price because it was the Independence Day holiday.
The mattress was terrible, the rooms are small, the refrigerator did not have a freezer section. The bathroom needs an upgrade and an ADA toilet.
