Very good

The location had a lot of construction workers staying here. When we went down for the breakfast at 7:30 AM all the food at already been eaten and was not refilled, so we left to go to a restaurant..

Horrible experience. Keep driving.

Nothing. Could not wait to leave the next morning.

The rooms were filthy and musty smelling (we saw the inside of two rooms). The first room we checked into was obviously uncleaned. The second room we received after notifying the desk attendant wasn't much better, but we were tired and endured it. I should note that the desk attendant did not apologize for the filthy condition of the first room or for the inconvenience we experienced in moving our belongings to a different room. The furnishings and carpet were old and outdated. The restrooms smelled of urine and were not cleaned well, if at all. Some belongings of the previous guest were left in the first room. Food items (french fries and a piece of hamburger) from the previous guest were left on the carpet in the second room we received. The rooms obviously are not being cleaned well, if at all. The curtains were missing from the room window. The elevator floor buttons do not correspond to room floor numbers written on key cards (we received a card with a room presumably on the fourth floor, but there was no button for a fourth floor, only buttons for three floors and a lower level). We realized we had to press the 3rd floor button. "Eggs" on the complimentary breakfast bar were mostly liquid (barely cooked). The sausage patty served had an awful smell (did not eat). Complimentary coffee and hot water canisters placed out for guests were mostly empty. To his credit, the desk attendant did refill the hot water canister when he saw that it was empty. The air outside of the hotel smelled strongly of manure when we left the next morning. We never experienced anything like this at a hotel. I am surprised this location is allowed to continue using the Choice Hotels brand. We stopped here because we have had very good experiences with Choice Hotels. However, this particular location does not reflect well on the company in our opinion.

Last day are horrible

Everything the first 6 days my daughter have her baby in chambersburg when we are visiting

When i paid for another night on Thursday they give me the room dirty and the guy at the front desk doesn’t care the smell is horrible i cant sleep with my kids the shower are nasty

Worst ever hotel experience!

Nothing!

They didn’t even have the rooms I booked available. They offered me two used unclean rooms to make up for it! No thanks! Staff was rude too, the desk help came across as sexist when they kept telling me he wanted to speak with my husband and not me! So disappointed!

Pleasant

Breakfast was very good. Good selection and clean. I liked all the choices. Good location.

Room needed better cleaning. Crumbs on floor. Sink dirty. Something had been splattered on the wall and lampshade. Staff did come in and clean the sink for us.

It was very welcoming and the room was great.

The staff was very welcoming when we checked in.

I witnessed another gues ask about more oatmeal for breakfast and the women tending to the breakfast stocking told her "no it takes to long to make." I feel like there should be instant oatmeal packs available or with the amount of guest more should have been prepared. I found hair in our shower with soap still residue in the tray.

Uncomfortable,screwed out of money.

Short staff,every half hour fan In cooling howled for a few minutes making sleep impossible.Room never should have been rented.Nobody is going to tell me that just started.So you pay for the room and nobody gives a damn.You are just after the money.

Never Again.

Just off highway.

1) Arrived after 8pm and room had not even been cleaned yet. Finally got in after 9. same happened to family arriving after us. Had reserved a king room, got one with two small beds.

The hotel was very clean and friendly. Not near restaurants.

The staff was great. The rooms were clean.

The grounds were covered in cigarette butts in places. There was a bench for smokers but it was directly in the sun. That was the only ashtray available. Unfortunately, people did not respect the grounds.

The whole family wanted to stay longer but we had to get back on the highway..

We liked everything about this hotel from the staff to the clean room and hotel and the great food that was provided. We would highly recommend this hotel to stay at.

Nothing could have been any better, everything was great.

nice easy overnight stop on a long drive

good clean quiet location easy access off 81 and very nice accomodations.

there was only a McDonald’s at the exit but drove about five miles South and found plenty of places to eat.

I fell out of the very slippery bathtub which had nothing to hold on to. When I reported this to the day manager 8/14, she handed me an incident report, but refused to fill out her part or give me her name. Her conduct could not have been less professional.

Very disappointed...not the same experience as last year.

Second stay here. No issues the first time, in 2021. This time the only good thing I can say is the room was freshly cleaned and the bed was comfortable.

When we got there, the very rude and unprofessional clerk checked us in. We walked back the hall towards our room and the housekeeper stopped us and asked which room they were putting us in...turns out our room wasn't even cleaned yet. None of them on the floor were. So he said he'd clean our room next, give him 10 minutes. We waited in the lobby for almost half an hour before he came back and told us our room was ready and apologized for the inconvenience. At no time did the clerks at the desk apologize or even acknowledge we were sitting there waiting. Both clerks were very rude and seemed to not know what they were doing, and were dressed kind of sloppy. If the room wasn't prepaid with no refund, we'd have left and gotten a different hotel.

perfect night’s sleep on our way to New England

the hotel was a bit dated but wonderfully clean. staff was friendly and helpful, especially the lady in the breakfast area. beds were comfy and the whole place was quiet. really got a good nights sleep there.

The room was fine and the breakfast was good. FYI, the room numbering is very strange (e.g., 300 numbered rooms are on the second floor).

The location wasn't close to any restaurants, which wasn't obvious when I selected it from a list. When I wanted to check out, there was no front desk clerk, who obviously didn't show up for work. Fortunately another staff member jumped in to help. Also, being in a lower level room (100 series), it took a while for the hot water to flow.

Just a one night stopover. OK

THERE WAS NO WAY TO CLOSE THE CURTAIN ON THE WINDOWS FOR DARKNESS AND PRIVACY. There were sheer curtains but no room darkening shade. The room faced the parking lot with bright lights and they interrupted sleep comfort.
