The property is clean and a quick walk to the beach. Happy Hr and waffles along with the beach are added perks that keep us coming back. Each room also has fireplace with wood provided along with popcorn makers and popcorn.
The rooms get hot but we opened windows and the front door which provided a cross breeze. If the windows didn’t open it would have been uncomfortable as there is no ac but it all worked out.

LOCATION was terrific for our Carmel/Pacific Grove/Monterey trip. Loved that the beach (BEAUTIFUL) was in walking distance , other sites a short drive away. We stayed in the 2 bdrm suite , very spacious , had full kitchen. Very quiet area. Parking was available on site. Breakfast while limited was a welcomed convenience. Staff were kind and helpful.
Nothing! (In a perfect world, water pressure could be higher, beds could get new mattresses, but even without these things, I would still rate our stay a 10 )

The hotel is in a quiet location very near Asilomar. The cleaning staff was wonderful and the room immaculate. At my request, they stopped using their air freshener which caused problems for my asthma. Although we did not swim, other visitors seemed to enjoy the pool and spa area. It was GREAT that our dog could come with us.
The "beautifully appointed rooms" were dark and the decor quite outdated. Some refurbishment is long overdue. Breakfast was okay, but we would have been very happy had some juice/s been available.
