We enjoyed our one night stay with a comfortable hotel room and a delicious meal.

The room was very nice. It was very clean and the furnishings were modern and sleek. The bathroom was also clean and modern. We also ate dinner at the Back Nine Grill. The Apple Feta Salad was excellent and our service was exceptional.

The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and the heater made strange noises. The parking lot in front of the room had a lot of debris. I think there had been a storm.

Very good choice for a family gathering, very accommodating.

Easy check in/out, pool was nice, coffee and pastries for breakfast and onsite, very good, restaurant and bar. Super easy access to property, hi way and the beach.

There were no dressers or cabinets in my room in which to store clothes.

Okay for the price, but nothing special. Basic motor lodge.

The room was very quiet.

There was no housekeeping service, unless requested. I thought after 5 days I would at least get my trash emptied, but I didn't. I had to run down the housekeeper and ask him to take my trash bags. The closet was too, too small. I was there for an event and would have preferred to hang my clothes. The floor lamp didn't work. The room felt dark and dated.

The pool is gorgeous! My room was clean, well-appointed and quiet.

Santa Cruz hotels/motels are expensive. Just how it is.

Very good

The setting is lovely. It's easy to get to from the freeway.

I did expect that it would be a bit more luxurious. It was nice but not at all fancy.

Beautiful and very relaxing!

Beautiful grounds and pool area. Very comfortable and clean. We were upgraded to a suite which was very enjoyable. Restaurant on site was very good as well.

Overall I was very pleased, primarily due to the front desk personnel which set them apart.

Front desk/ reception/checkout: The people working at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

it sounded like the smoke detector was chirping from low batteries in the adjoining room. It wasn't so loud in my room that I couldn't sleep, but something I kept hearing while awake.

This is the best place to stay in Santa Cruz when visiting your college kid!

The front desk staff as well as bar staff were very nice, friendly and welcoming! Room as usual was clean and inviting! Bed was super comfortable! Plenty of parking too! This place is our family go to when visiting Santa Cruz!

All very minor: The showerhead, like most hotels, was terrible and sprayed everywhere with not much water pressure. (Shower space itself was large and upscale :)) Could have more than one type of coffee as well as more than only one flavor of muffin in the morning.
