homely feel to this hotel, staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous view of Empire State Building from our room.
Shower wasn't great

Everything! The location was perfect, very walkable to many landmarks. Clean and updated!
Nothing not to like!

Location was fantastic! Close to so much but also quiet in its own way.

Staff at the reception and concierge were nice and helpful.
Room temperature was also good, it was not cold (which is a problem I had in other NYC hotels).
The hotel has a rundown, old feel to it. The ceiling in my room had stains on it, the furniture, equipment, all utilities are old and very used up. The hotel needs renovation and better maintenance.
