Great fitness center. Very clean, well appointed rooms, which they called "cabins". Good, central location despite lots of derelicts in the neighborhood. Good continental breakfast options and good coffee.
The breakfast room was bizarre, way too small for a hotel that size, poorly lit, under-staffed, and poorly served. There was only one coffee machine for hundreds of people and it often had a line of 10 people waiting for coffee and/or was blocked, requiring someone to inform reception to come and un-block it. No one cleaned up after slobs who left crumbs and spills on the tables, so the neatniks had to clean up after the slobs as well as themselves. There were no pictograms to differentiate kinds of waste for the three different containers, with the predictable result that everyone put everything everywhere. This was the single worst part of the experience.

It was Market st and 7th. Much better than few years ago, San Francisco's mayor did a good job, reducing homelessness. So, it's better than before but still homeless/drug addicts around.
The internet service was down for almost two days of our stay. Very SIMPLE breakfast. a bit of cereal, milk, no cheese. Don't expect a hotel breakfast at all!
