The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were nice. We stayed here because we had an event on at the convention center. It was nice and close just a short walk to the convention center.
The breakfast was not great. Ther were a lot of homeless around. This was in no fault of the hotel and in fact, I thought the hotel dealt with this issue well, locking the doors so you needed to swipe in just to enter the property. The only issue there is when you arrive, we couldn't get in, and it took the staff quite a while to realise and let us in the front doors.

The hotel on the inside is clean and modern. Decent amenities, somewhat friendly staff.
The location is awful. Unfortunately when you walk out the door you are faced with a severe houseless people situation. People with extreme mental health issues all over the place. Garbage strewn about on the sidewalk, and the intense smell of human excrement. While there are people doing their best to clean it up on a daily basis, it can be overwhelming to experience. The rooms themselves are very small. The hotel charges extra for a room with a mini fridge. What started out as a fairly reasonable rate for the stay turned into a very expensive stay for the overall experience. The hotel says it’s pet friendly, I would not recommend anyone stay here with a pet.
