Very good

The location was excellent and the canal was very clean and clear.

We had ants everywhere in the kitchen and dining area.

We would happily stay here again for all of this value.

The nightly rate was what drew us to book it. It was the best deal we could find and was even cheaper than the RV parks. Then we got here and saw how cute it is inside. Decorated so adorably and tastefully renovated with granite, marble, and wood-look tile, it looks like it was just finished very recently. We also loved that it was pet friendly, as our two dogs travel everywhere with us. Parking was awesome, and there is room for at least 4 cars for this one property. It is on a canal, so taking our SUPs out whenever we wanted was so fun. There is a little mangrove key within a short distance that we paddled to and snorkeled and saw lobsters, barracuda, and other ocean life.

All of this was minor to us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but it's worth noting a few things. Upon arriving, we had difficulty getting the key because the code didn't work. My husband played around with it for 10 minutes while I tried to find a phone number to call (there isn't one) and by chance he got it to open by changing the digits up or down one on the lockbox. I believe this could be easily sorted out for the next people who stay here. Also, the airport is right across the street, so if you desire seclusion and peace, this may not be the place for you. No flights at night, but during the day there are planes and helicopters maybe every hour or two and they are loud. Perhaps it isn't as busy in the off season. It didn't bother us much but worth mentioning. Lastly, the closest restaurants and shops are a 20 min walk along the back of the airport and a sort of industrial area (not scenic). So be prepared to drive where ever you go.

Very nice place with great amenities in a central location whether boating or not.

Very nice to have ample parking for boat trailer. Nice wide canal. Very nice appliances. Good sound insulation. Sea life.....fish, nurse shark, manatee. Bait freezer in the storage room.

Pots and pans could use an upgrade but were quite sufficient for our stay.
