Absolute Luxury! WOW! This place is absolutely stunning. Over our travels we’ve stayed in 2 other hotels in Split and I thought their locations were the best but I was wrong, Mijama Suites has by far the best location. And they thought of everything. They even had apples in the room for us. The attention to detail was very impressive. Everytime I look around I see more little details. They have little 3D angel wings that match the wall in the bathroom. The pillow cases AND sheets are embroidered with their cool logo with the Palace Arches. There are more electrical outlets than I’ve ever seen in a room which makes everything convenient. It’s the only hotel (out of the 7 we’ve stayed in in Croatia) that has: breakfast, soft towels, slippers and robes. The room was SUPER clean. The bed is medium firm and a little bigger than a queen-sized bed. The bed is normal length. Mijama Suites is pure luxury. Room #3 also has a piece of the palace wall built in. Our ferry was 2 hours late and the manager waited for us and found me in the underground passage way!!!! WOW that’s service!!! The manager hauled our 2 heavy pieces of luggage (no one has done this for us in our 2 weeks in Croatia). EVERYTHING in this room is brand new and well thought out. It has a small to medium sized safe (but you won’t need it). It won’t fit computers but will certainly fit your paperwork and passports. Again, we didn’t use it. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Mijama Suites. Warning: church bells are rung at 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. (at least on Saturdays, we’re not sure about other days). But this will apply to anywhere you stay in a great location in Diocletian’s Palace.

It is a great location and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The communication was the best before we even arrived.

Location
towels were dirty and broken. water boiler was too small for two people - there was hot water for one person only. Staff didn’t apologize neither of these problems. Also after showering, the bathroom floor flooded because of lack of floor drain
