About this house rental
Situated in Lisbon, this attractive house for $206 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The house is a typical city house of the old town area of Lisbon, renewed as a triplex. On the ground floor there is a charming kitchen and a spacious (35m2) living /dinning room. on the 1st floor there is a small toilette and a suite: a 17m2 bedroom and a bathroom - connected by a corridor lined with closets. From the small balcony of the room you can see the Parliament building. On the 2nd floor there are 2 more bedrooms, and another bathroom. All the three bedrooms have two single beds that can also be prepared as one double bed. There are also two extra beds, extending the house's capacity to 8 guests. You can visit, at a walking distance, Lisbon's Botanic Garden, the National Ancient Art Museum (where you'll be able to see the original Hieronymus Bosch tryptic "Saint Anthony Temptation"), the Parliament House, the National Opera House. You'll be able to walk through Lisbon's old town and try the cafés and restaurants from the charming Flores square and the stores, cafés and restaurants from Bairro Alto ( 8 walking minutes away) and Chiado (15 walking minutes away). You'll also be able to catch the tramway, the famous "28" (there's a stop 5 walking minutes away from the house) that will ride you through the old town of Lisbon.

Had a fabulous stay in Lisbon in this property. Once we got our bearings, lots of great restaurants close by and the tram down to the water front. Love to come back again.

Three women friends enjoyed our stay here for three weeks. No car is needed. As long as you are fit you can walk to tram, Metro, train and bus. There are numerous small groceries, restaurants, and cafe/bakeries nearby. The house is on a small quiet street. It is well equipped and the owners are very responsive to any needs or questions. It is an old house without central heat but there are heaters in the living room, each bedroom and bathroom. In February we used the heaters and it was fine.

We loved staying here. The place is much more spacious than you would usually find in this area. The location was perfect! We were able to walk short distances throughout the neighborhood and enjoy the local restaurants and bars. And the owner was very responsive and helpful to work with. Highly recommended!

The property was a somewhat tired, historic multi-plex, a bit on the gloomy side but beds were clean and comfortable and street is quiet and safe. The owner was gracious and very accomodating and helpful.
The neighbourhood was amazing, fabulous restaurants, stores and entertainment just one street over.

The streets in lissabon are pretty noisy so the apartments in the center area are not to recommend for sensitive sleepers. the public transport and connection to the place was late and you are faster by walking to the main stations by your self, but i guess it is a general problem in lissabon. Within 15min walk you can actually find everything you need, trainstations, shops, supermarket and the city center. The house owner was nice and supporting. We had a good time as a group and enjoyed the place,

We were a group of 5 travelling to Lisbon. The house had plenty of room and all the basics we needed. Francisco showed us around the neighborhood and pointed out their family's favorites, which was great. The location was great!

Schöne Wohnung im Bairro Alto Lissabon
Der Äussere Eindruck täuscht und wir waren von der Wohnung sehr positiv überrascht. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichetet.
Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen und auch
weiterempfehlen da wir uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt haben.
Man bekommt in der näheren Umgebung alles was man zum Leben benötigt.

Large and comfortable home
The ground floor has a great kitchen (with a dishwasher and a washer/dryer!), dining and living room. The next floor has a large bedroom, closet, and bathroom - with an additional half bath at the top of the stairs. The top floor has 2 bedrooms and a full bath.
Francisco met us at the house and gave a tour of the neighborhood.
Two couples shared this house and really enjoyed it!

Loved having a nice cozy place to come home to at the end of the day. Conveniently located for access to the sites whether walking or bus. Only complaint is the water pressure in the 2nd floor bathtub. Otherwise 5⭐️

Stay in the old town house in Lisbon
The house is in a great central location, in the beautiful old part of town, close to the # 28 Tram connecting fast to the center. The host and especially his sister are great, very helpfu, guided us in the area and gave much info. for the city - always avail by E Mail.
The house is beautiful in its old style, a bit dark but that is the style.
All conveniences are avail. nothing missing, just the coffee machine is two small for more than one person.

Ein wunderschönes, familiäres Haus mit liebevollem Empfang
Die Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus war ein Traum. Sehr zentral gelegen, man kommt von dort aus überall schnell hin. Wir kamen abends sehr spät an, dennoch wurden wir vom Gastgeber freundlich und persönlich empfangen, alles war perfekt. Danke für diesen erholsamen Urlaub.

Miguel notified us before our trip that the taxis are on strike and arranged for a pick up from the airport. Francisco met us at the house and spent a lot of time showing us around, telling us a bit about the history of the house and giving us great advice. His wife who we talked to on the phone was equally helpful. The neighborhood has several restaurants and stores. We even found a small antique store nearby. A small breakfast/lunch place called Copenhagen was our favorite. It also sold great bread. Just bring comfy walking shoes. Lisbon is build on 7 hills do you will be always walking up or down a hill. It was very hot when we were there so we used uber a lot.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The house is well-provisioned and the rooms are comfortable and light. The neighborhood has several convenient markets and restaurants. The metro and the downtown area are each about a 10 minute walk from the house. The property owners were very responsive and friendly. We highly recommend!

Spacious apartment with plenty of character
Before arriving the owner had been very responsive and helpful with information.
We were met n the first day by the owners very friendly brother-in-law who showed us round the apartment and walked us round the neigbourhood.
The property was as described, not in the centre but 200m from the parliament and within walking distance or a short tram ride of the centre. Quite a few decent restaurants nearby that we tried.
Highly recommended.
We had a great time in Lisbon and the apartment was an excellent base.

Loved Villa - Lisboa!
We were 8 people, 2 families, ages 20 to 60 and we all completely enjoyed our time in this charming house. Our expectations, based on descriptions and photo, were beyond totally met. The kitchen was well-stocked with amenities and provisions. The toilets, baths and showers were more than adequate and also well-stocked. The bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable. (Even lovely cool breezes on hot summer nights:) The location worked well for all of us to be together, perhaps enjoy a meal, or to go our separate ways, day or night; beautiful Lisboa's sites and sounds, train to nearby towns and beaches, local restaurants or late-night fun. We packed it all into a wonderful week and would return and recommend in a heartbeat. Many thinks to Mafalda & Franciso for the on-site warm welcome and graciously provided information. And Miguel for the being such a responsive and generous communicator.
