This is a good hotel located very close to lots of restaurants and shops. It was easy to locate and close to some important/frequently visited tourist spots. This hotel got its basics right - clean and spacious rooms with clean bathrooms, comfy beds and clean linens. Honestly, that's really all you can ask for in a hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
One thing I look for and liked in a hotel room is a good AC with the ability to adjust the temps as per my needs at the time. Too many hotels have finicky ACs which just don't work if you look at their thermostats wrong. The AC in my room worked just fine.
Another point worth mentioning is that this hotel has 24 hours room service and a restaurant of its own. In a pinch, that'll always come in handy.
Breakfast could have more variety, but honestly - I don't view this as a negative or a positive. The fundamentals of the breakfast are there - eggs, bread with tea and coffee. That's perfectly acceptable. There are local options too which I enjoyed as well.

Great location, being a short walk from Hoan Kiem lake & the Old Quarter, There are plenty of restaurants in the area & a convenience store around the corner.

The breakfast area was large and well located to elevators etc. The reception staff and front door staff were helpful and friendly.
A limited variety of foods. Some foods including pastries and stir-fry options, did not look fresh.
