In a quiet location near to museum and park, breakfast very enjoyable in a comfortable restaurant, staff are friendly

Staff are friendly and Kind
They mentioned that they have a sports centre/fitness centre at the hotel which I thought was a proper gym. But it was just a small room with two treadmill machines.
I was told at the check in that, I would be offered a discount which is about NTWD 5000 and I had to sign for it which I did. However at the check out, I was not refunded anything at all. I don't mind as I was not expecting a cheaper price but I find this fishy.
