clean, cheap, comfortable, good location

good location, clean, comfortable, good value. the breakfast buffet was exceptional! they have everything I really was surprised with it.

the hotel walls and doors were very thin, I could easily hear people in the corridors walking and talking in their room next door so that wasn’t great.

exceptional breakfast, clean hotel. good value, good location

very close to the belamendena harbour, close to restaurants. the room was very clean, the hotel it’s self seemed pretty new. good location , easy to get about. I walked from the local train station to it. the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic. I must say that the breakfast buffet that they put on was probably the best I’ve ever had. they had everything, literally everything ! check in was very fast, the hotel was clean and seemed to be all ok. no complaints from me really.

the walls, doors seem to be very thin. I could easily hear people walking in the corridor and talking in their rooms next door so that wasn’t great. the bathroom sink also didn’t drain very well so I think was quite cheaply built

Just got home today from a stay in Palmasol hotel.Fantastic hotel; superb location..so near the Marina and shops and restaurants. Such friendly & kind staff. So clean and fresh.. Will definitely be back

Pastry thief

On arrival, I noticed that the room was not cleaned properly, especially the toilet, and that the shower was leaking. The room was not very big, the balcony was decent, but the glass was dirty. The saff were uptight and unfriendly. This particular morning, I was finishing up my breakfast, and I had two mini pastries left on my plate which I had planned to finish in my room with another cup of coffee. As I was walking out, one of the members of staff stopped me and said that I was not allowed to leave with these items. When I asked her why, she just told me that it was not allowed. She then took a plastic cup, and whilst holding it over the bin, started to pour the contents of my coffee cup into it. She then said that I could not take the plate with the two mini pastries to my room. I put the plate down and was about to put the pastries on a tissue, when the lady said that I am not allowed to take the pastries themselves with me. When I said to her that I had been holding the pastries, and that they would now just have to be thrown out, she said it doesn't matter, and that this was against the policy (which was not displayed anywhere). She then requested that I tell her my room number. I asked her why this was such a big problem, to which she responded with a shrug. All of this was watched by other guests, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. This policy was not displayed anywhere, and I have never had this issue before with other hotels. I had only wanted to finish my breakfast in my room, and at the end of the day I had paid for it. It's a shame that staff treat guests like this, as it has ruined my experience staying at the hotel. Let's just say that location was the only thing this hotel was good for.

Clean,comfortable bed,breakfast good staff ok pool nice and warm.

More than average mosquitos in garden pool area. Long queues for drinks Road side rooms are far too noisy Gym was poor Mirror in room was concave (is it to make clients look fatter so they might eat and drink less?) Animation poor

Great fun enhanced by a lovely stay at The Palmasol!

A really nice hotel. Modern, clean and comfortable with a lovely pool area (although the sunbeds were a little packed in!), outdoor bar. Fantastic breakfast and close to the centre of the marina. I would return without a second thought.

Great week in Benalmadena

Hotel was very close to the Marina, and the beach, where there are plenty of bars and great resturants. Also close to the main road with more bars and restaurants and shops. Staff were great, hotel and pool area were clean and tidy. Plenty of bed chairs, but not all of them are by the pool, half of them are on the grass areas, which is nice if you want to be out of the way. Which suited me fine. The old town is a 12 minute cab journey away and definitely worth a look. Old spanish styles and great cafés and resturants. You can get a bus, but I prefer cabs, cost around €12-€15. The cable car is a 7 minute cab journey away.

I had a side room not overlooking the pool, they are building a new residential apartment. They work from 8 till around 4 or 5pm. Noise wasn't bad, the good thing is your balcony gets the sun in the afternoon, which suited me better. If you have room take a beach towel as they charge €3.5 a day, which I was a bit dissapointed about. Most places I stay don't do this. In peak times the pool is very busy, so if you want to be by the pool, get there early. Pool doesn't open till 10, and I like an early morning swim, so this was a bit of a let down.

turned up late at night , family of 3 to a room with only 2 single beds No bed for child , reception said couldn’t do anything till next day , was awoken by very loud building works right outside our room at 7 am , needless to say checked out got a refund and went to a different hotel

Location. Decent value.

Cleaning definitely subpar. Poor ventilation in bathroom. The glass supposed to cover the shower not big enough. No soap in the reception area restroom (?!). Wi-fi only adequate in part of the room.

Comfortable for one night but unlikely I will stay here again

Room was comfortable, added bonus was a fridge in the room which enabled me to keep water cold in the heat.

Are in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. During dinner hot food was cold and shellfish was displayed alongside salad items so I couldn’t eat anything as I have a shellfish allergy. Really poor of the hotel to cross contaminate allergy foods like this!!! Breakfast experience was better.
