Great location. Close to Paddington station/tube. Lots of places to eat. Staff are pleasant. The lady who helped with breakfasts and cleaned the rooms was lovely and helpful. As a solo female traveller I like this area to stay due to close transport links and there is always people around so helps with feeling if safety.
You can hear the train but it’s not really loud.

It definitely could do with updating but it was very clean .
The hotel is in a great location with easy access to Paddington station and felt safe walking there also at night.
The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with any requests at any time. It is great that the reception is 24/7 and luggage can be left before and after checking in easily.
The room size was as expected for a single room but enough space to keep a suitcase, desk to sit at and adequate private bathroom.
- The window could not be kept open as it would just slam shut so had to wedge it open, which was an issue in temperatures of constantly over 30 degrees. There is no air conditioning and the fan is very old and not working well.
- The mattress needs replacing, it is very old and offers no support
- The TV could not be turned on.
- One of the only three plugs in the room was broken.
- the water pressure is very poor and made it almost impossible to wash my hair
