The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Kevin is an absolute gem. He got us checked in and gave us all sorts is helpful information. Our room was clean and comfortable and spacious enough for us.
My only hiccup was initially getting to the hotel from the station. I didn’t know what exit to use, so what should have been a short walk was confusing because of blocked roads. I could have easily remedied this by calling the desk for info. FYI - don’t exit by the canal.

Very friendly staff! We arrived pretty early in the day and they were happy to store our bags until the room was ready. They messaged to let us know when the room was clean, well before normal check in time. And the location was just a few blocks from Paddington station one direction and a few blocks from Hyde Park the other direction with plenty of nice little restaurants nearby. Extremely convenient!
The room was quite small and some of the fixtures felt a little chintzy. The wardrobe wasn't affixed to the wall so it wobbled every time it was used or even bumped into. The showerhead also wasn't properly affixed and kind of flopped over and sprayed the wall when trying to wash up.

Its location.
My room was very very very hot even with a fan. But the staff was great and helpful.

It was the weekend of 38C and there is no air conditioning, only a very small fan moving the fug around and I was under the roof tiles. It was probably over 40C in there.
No lift, I was on the 4th floor under the roof in 38C. No AC.
