Schönes Hotel in optimaler Lage, Schwächen beim Frühstück

Die Lage ist top - direkt in der Innenstadt - nah bei den Öffis. Besser geht nicht. Super Personal. Schönes Zimmer, großes Bad. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Frühstück qualitativ gut (siehe unten)

Die Betten sind zu hart, wir haben zwei Topper drauflegen lassen, dann ging es einigermaßen. Was am meisten gestört hat, war der Frühstücksraum: viel zu kleine Tische, mit Bedienung (was ok. war), aber es war zu beengt. Für Leute die lieber ein Frühstücksbuffet mögen wie wir, war es schlecht. Leider ging die Klimaanlage nicht (nur Heizung), nachts war das Zimmer dann doch mit 22-23 Grad für uns zu warm zum Schlafen. Das Fenster konnte man zwar öffnen, war aber zu laut. Im Bad schlechte bis gar keine Abluft, leider Badewanne und keine begehbare Dusche. Keine Haken im Bad, um was aufzuhängen. An die Ablage von den Handtüchern kommen nur Riesen. Frühstück gut, allerdings etwas lächerlich wenn man z.B. einen Brie bestellt, kommen zwei fitzekleine Stückchen, das war sehr seltsam. Ebenfalls beim Lachs - da könnte man gleich 10 Portionen bestellen, dann würde es vielleicht passen. Das war schon seltsam.

Uma surpresa maravilhosa.

O hotel é realmente maravilhoso. Com amenities da Rituals, doces e vinho do Porto com votos de boas vindas no quarto, chocolates na cama toda noite. Fui mimada de toda forma no hotel. Do Rooftop do hotel Mundial ao lado, do mesmo grupo, tem-se uma espetacular vista da cidade e um bar muito badalado.Adorei!! O Hotel é realmente muito bom e foi uma grata surpresa.

O hotel fica numa rua de pedestres, encontra-lo nao foi muito facil, eu tive que telefonar para a recepcao para o motorista do Uber falar com eles, pois o Gps apontava para o hotel Mundial. Como os dois sao do mesmo grupo pode-se entrar por ele. Acho que deveria ter uma placa ou indicaçao na rua para facilitar. Se o café da manhã fosse self service evitaria-se desperdícios.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Das Zimmer war super und sehr gross. Grosses Bett (2m breit). Frühstück wird am Tisch serviert, ist sehr lecker. Die Lage ist optimal, ganz in der Nähe der Ubahnstation Rossio.

Excellent facilities, very friendly staff, well located, comfortable and a great breakfast.

A stylish hotel with very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Situated in an excellent location close to the centre of the City and walking distance to all the main sights. The room was very spacious and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic, with a range of tasty dishes and very friendly staff.

Nothing, it was a lovely experience staying at the hotel.

Great stay in Portugal at your hotel

I liked the room. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Excellent shower and air conditioning. The room service was also excellent in that they gave us sweets in the afternoon with a small bottle of port. Breakfasts were wonderful— hot or cold choices served at your table. Also can eat breakfast outside in their garden terrace. Location is also great— right downtown in the center of town.

Closet space was limited.

Wonderful, yet slightly overpriced, stay

We received a complimentary room upgrade, as we were there for a special occasion. The room was lovely. The location is fantastic, walking distance around the city. We received a very generous gift in our room, for our special occasion, also.

Breakfast was only OK, for the price we paid. Breakfast service was poor, it took too long to take our order and serve. A breakfast buffet, allowing diners to choose what they want themselves, would be more efficient. Not a reasonable gripe, but again for the price we paid, additional facilities such as a pool, sauna or steam room, would be nice.

Fantastic stay, would recommend

The hotel is very well decorated/designed and smells very good. Everything is clean and seems new. Excellent location. Staff was extremely pleasant and professional.

The train can sometimes vibrate the room a bit. I didn’t find that it disturbed my sleep or took away from the quality of the stay, but those sensitive to noise/vibration may be negatively impacted.

Excellent hotel, brilliant location; comfortable, clean and brilliant staff.

Location is brilliant. Rooms very comfortable and clean, staff exceptional. That went the extra mile to ensure that you were happy.

We weren’t keen on where we ate breakfast as found it a bit claustrophobic. Had the weather been better we could have eaten outside. However, we were invited to have breakfast at the sister hotel around the corner and we were treated beautifully. This probably wouldn’t have bothered some people. The thing is that if you have a problem ,they sort it! Just wonderful.

Excelent experience

Every single thing was at the very best. The hotel is very nice. The staff professional and friendly, always willing to help. The room was excellent, clean and very well designed. Very well positioned, near the metro and other public transport stations. Also near the major attractions.

The breakfast was delicious. The only thing a bit “interesting” was that you needed to order what you wanted, that is ok due to costs savings, but it was a bit difficult to order one glass of water and another one and so on, same with the orange juice. In others words it took some time to have another glass of water when it was full. I would suggest to leave the opportunity for the guests to take there on water or juice.

A beautiful hotel with great staff. East walk to all attractions in the old town.

The room was very big and beautiful. We especially liked the high ceiling and the colour scheme in the room. The staff have been very nice and helpful. Though breakfast wasn’t the buffet style we are used to, the staff were very accommodating and met all our requests. A big thank you!

The only thing I would suggest is bigger tables for breakfast. At times it felt a big crowded on the table. The outdoor dining area was a good compromise, but it was a little chilly to eat outside in the morning.
