The location on the waterfront is clearly the selling point here. That and the lovely staff. We also enjoyed the two small swimming pools and the spacious common area, where we could chill out when we wanted some downtime. We were budget conscious and had limited expectations. But except for the late night noise (see below), the hotel comfortably met our budget-conscious expectations.
Our room faced the bars on the main street, which churned out thumping dance music until 1am. Of course, if you're planning to stay out on the town late, this won't be a problem. But if you're planning to sleep earlier, make sure you have earplugs - or make sure you're booking a (more expensive) room overlooking the lake. The hotel, of course, has no control over the street noise.
