Great staff and facilities. Great beds, there is a bidet, awesome reception.
- The room service and the restaurant menu are very limited if you want a warm meal.
- Some hallway carpets need cleaning/replacement.
- The areas around the bathtub need some minor maintenance. So did the WC plastic button area.
- Besides those minor things, the bath looked amazing. The taps have great pressure, I wish the shower pressure were stronger. It is enough for daily use, but not enough if you want a 5 star experience.
- The rooms located at the ground floor can hear people screaming in the outdoor lounge area.

Beautiful mix of old and modern, spacious, comfortable and quiet, in middle of old town, a few minutes' walk from historic sites. Lovely front desk staff.
Restaurant staff (dinner at Nomada and breakfast in main hotel) were attentive enough but lacked personality. Food in Nomada was mediocre given the price - we ate better for a bit less cost at a couple of other more informal places on Tenerife. Gym not open until 9am - considering its on an electronic key and no staff there in person, why not open 24 hours, or at least early in the morning ?

This is a very interesting hotel which is celebrating 250 years since it was established. The original building is still in use but a well designed modern section provides the majority of the accommodation. The rooms are a good size with a seating area. There are plenty of courtyards with lots of planting and an attractive top floor area with seating and a pool. We chose a room with a terrace which was very nice although the weather was too unkind for us to actually sit on it. (Storm Theresa hit the Canaries whilst we were there.) The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed walking around the historic area of the town which retains a very Spanish feel dating from the time that it was the capital of Tenerife.
My husband hated the continuous music which was not Spanish but possibly was intended to be 'international'. We thought the restaurant area for breakfast and dinner was totally lacking in any atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was acceptable but nothing special though there was plenty of fresh orange juice.
We had taken the half board option mainly because we are elderly and didn't want to go out at night. The three course meal which included water and coffee was undoubtedly good value at 19 euros. It changed daily but seemed to be 'international' rather than Spanish. It would have been nice to have some other options at additional cost.

Breakfast was ok room clean lovely building very central
Restaurant only has a daily menu for lunch and dinner with 3 choices of starters and mains
The jacuzzi was shut the pool had no shade no pool bar as advertised no waiter service
