Located in Oceanside, this charming house for $1,350 per night is a great option for your next break. This is the very popular single family beach house, fondly known as Pink Door. It is on the only real sandy beach in Oceanside. The chic four bedroom beachfront cottage is known for its tremendous location and how fresh and immaculate it is. The spectacular beachfront location is, by far, the best sandy beach in the city. Here you can take long walks on the beach and do not have to contend with the rock seawalls that now block beach access from most beach homes in Oceanside. A true gem. Everything is fresh since it just completed a major remodel. It’s a fun, trendy beachfront home. Location is everything. Your kids can safely boogie board right in front of the house and jump or swim in the waves. You will enjoy watching the sunset into the Pacific ocean from your beachfront deck, taking enjoyable walks down the harbor, or bike ride to all the new restaurants. Don’t forget to kayak in the harbor and even fish from the nearby pier. A total of 10 people including kids and visitors are allowed to enjoy the beach house. To assure safety and privacy we have contactless check-in. The immaculate beach house has a stunning kitchen, fresh bathrooms, and beachy wood plank flooring. By far the most popular feature of this home is its premier location on the largest SANDY beach in Oceanside. No matter the time of year or tides, this is one of the only single-family beach house rentals that can GUARANTEE its guests to always have a beautiful sandy beach, 365 days a year right in front of the house. Just open your door to take long walks on the beach! This exclusive area of beach always is certain to have sand for your kids to boogie board, splash in the gentle waves, play, and make sandcastles. There is no better location to enjoy an active beachfront vacation. The first floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and a cozy en-suite bathroom. The upstairs has 4 more queen beds for you to select from. We happily furnish the home with all the towels, bedding, and kitchen supplies you will need for your stay on the beach. Also, we have plenty of sand toys, boogies boards, beach chairs. We have free private parking spaces for three cars, high-speed WIFI, and five smart TVs equipped for Netflix in each bedroom as well as the living room. A special treat is a private backyard complete with a deck, lawn, fire pit, and Weber BBQ. It’s a great place to relax after a day on the sand. We even have temperature-controlled a/c in some of the bedrooms. We have sand toys, beach towels, and boogie boards for the kiddos The home is located on the strand a quiet, seldom used, one way 15 mph access boardwalk. Bring your bikes and strollers as the strand is a super fun place to bike and stroll! Please note due to strict new city regulations, there can not be more than 10 people on the property including visitors and children.

Beautiful house, exactly as pictured. Plenty of space for my family and I. If it wasn’t raining half the time we would have enjoyed the back yard more, it’s a wonderful relaxing area to enjoy the sound of the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay and a stellar location! Our family all enjoyed the comfortable accommodations. The views and beach access were a real hit. This place is also well stocked for cooking and comes with lots of towels and beach toys. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was a great size for the ten of us to all fit comfortably. It was located within walking distance to restaurants and the pier, which provided some entertainment.
Early mornings spent on the deck watching the sun rise and people watching were the best.

We come to Oceanside every year and have stayed at this property a couple times. It is hands down the favorite. It’s the absolute perfect location, and wonderfully stocked. The kitchen wants for nothing. The beds are super comfy and the backyard is especially spacious; it’s lovely to sit in the back with the fire pit and listen to the waves. And it’s SO beautifully decorated. I just wish they provided beach chairs!

We loved this stay. We have been to Oceanside a few times before and this was by far the best location. The sand is soft and not loaded with rocks like the others and we were able to walk right out onto the beach without climbing down boulders. Our view was stunning. The host was easy to communicate with and alway responded quickly. The kitchen was well stocked and the AC units upstairs made the rooms really comfortable, even without central air. We cannot wait to go back!

We can not say thank you enough. What an unbelievable trip. Great locations. Great setup. Everything was available that we needed. It made for one unbelievable family trip. We hope we can come back again next year. It was so much fun! Great to people watch. So close to the beach. The back yard was nice if you wanted a break from the front area. Great property. There's a 1 way street between the house and the beach where everyone shows off their rides all day long. Great people watching spot. Great for the kids.

10 of us stayed at this location. 5 teens and 5 adults. We all fit comfortably and the teens approved of the location. I loved being in front of the beach. We enjoyed surfing (though many spots are black balled), we relaxed on the front porch watching the sunset, people watched, and played volleyball on the court that was right across from us. I made it a point to make sure we were there on a Thursday because the market night is so much fun. Great place! The only issue which is not a deal breaker is the tiny sinks in the bathroom. Very hard to wash your face. But I didn’t care much. The shower made up for it.

Our family of adults rented this house for a long birthday weekend. We found it to be comfortable and well equipped. The location can't be beat! It was lovely sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and then watching the sun set with wine in the evening. You really can't get closer to the beach. The strand can get noisy with cars and people passing by but since we were there in October it was fine. We didn't use the backyard at all but it would definitely be a bonus during the hotter, busier summer months. The other pros: the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, serving platters and equipment. I did bring my own knives and a good large frying pan. The beds were comfortable and although the house is on the small size, it never felt cramped but rather was cozy. The cons: the bathroom sinks, as mentioned by others, are so small that they are difficult to use. I'd recommend more wash clothes be provided and for renters to bring face wipes. Also, one of the rooms had a luggage rack, which given there were no closets, shelves or hooks in any of the bedrooms, was very helpful. It would be nice to have at least one luggage rack in each room and for hooks to be added. These are minor things. We loved the house and would return in a heartbeat.

Super clean, super fun, perfect location, sunsets were beautiful, we had fun visiting with locals and beach goers! Many great restaurants in the area. House is updated and really comfortable. We all slept great listing to the ocean waves 🌊. Spent tons of time on the front porch enjoying the beautiful weather we were lucky to have.

We had a family reunion at the Pink Door. Couldn't ask for a better location. Walk out the front door and onto the beach. We spent most of the time sitting on the front porch people watching. We were also entertained by all the amazing cars that passed by on the Strand. Great fun. There was 8 of us and had plenty of room. Hope to go back soon.

The home was in beautiful condition, had a great location, air conditioned upstairs bedrooms and was well supplied with towels, dishes, sand toys, and even a kid pool for our toddler. We had a wonderful family vacation!
The only issues we had were that the downstairs was not air conditioned so we couldn't use the bedroom downstairs (we were there during a heat alert) and the flies were terrible, which may have been due to the weather. Unfortunately, we needed to leave doors open to cool the downstairs.

- No central AC, portable AC units in 3 of the 4 bedroom only. No AC downstairs, living room, or loft area.
- A LOT of bugs, gnats, ants in the house due to needing to keep doors and windows open for air circulation.
- A lot of car and pedestrian traffic on beach side due to busy holiday weekend as expected. Some homeless hang out on the beach benches right in front of the house.
- Only 2 bathrooms with tiny sinks
- No beach chairs as advertised in property listing

Great Beach House!!!
Property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. Location was perfect, right on the beach. We enjoyed the fire pit, and back deck and yard. We spent enjoyable evenings sitting on the front deck watching the parade of interesting people on the Strand at sunset. Highly recommended for a family beach vacation.

Great location and wonderful home!
The house is steps away from the beach. There were cars driving by which was a concern with little ones but we managed. The house was very clean, backyard was a great space and fun for the kids, and location was awesome. We would definitely go back!

Could not have asked for anything more for our family trip. There were 10 of us and the living and sleeping arrangements worked out great. Loved being right on the strand where you can people watch and meet all kinds of folks. Kids loved having the beach just steps away.

Owners only supply one roll of paper towels and limit your tp as well so bring your own? Pricey for what you get I think. On positive note; parking perfect. Large back deck perfect for yoga or mini work outs and slim front porch perfect for people watching. Great one time stay.

Idyllic beach stay
When you walk in, your first thought is - wow! Looks like you stepped into a ritzy beach magazine. Gorgeously decorated in whites and blues, it seemlessly blends into the ocean just steps away.
We have been staying in Carlsbad/Oceanside every fall break for many, many years now, and this is hands-down the best location ever. The beach is right out the front door - and it’s a GOOD beach, not mostly rocks. We loved sitting on the porch to watch both sunrises and sunsets. Bonus points for ample parking space too!
The beds were all comfy- and there’s a lot of them! Towels were plentiful and kitchen was well stocked. It was nice not to have to pack boogie boards and sand toys- although they didn’t have any beach chairs. Bummer.
Space is at a premium and they’ve devoted it to beds. Only one living area inside, but the back yard is a great gathering space too. The bathrooms are laughably small. They’ve quite ingeniously used what look like airplane bathroom sinks, which isn’t a problem until you try washing your face in them. It’s like washing your face in a drinking fountain. But small price to pay for the rest of the accommodations.
My suggestion to the owners is to install some shelves in the bedrooms. There are no dressers or closets - I get it: no space. There are clothes racks to hang a few things, but really no place to put STUFF. A couple shelves on the wall would go a long way. It’s hard to keep a place tidy with nine people having to put most everything on the floor.
But all this was minor inconvenience. It really was a beautiful home and we’d be happy to stay there again. And again and again.

My dad had always dreamed about renting a beach house with his children and grandchildren. Ever since he was a little boy when his mom took him to a friends Beachhouse he knew he wanted to do the same thing with his family one day. He rented this house for a week and enjoyed every single moment with his family. Perfect location, kid friendly house, and so much to do within walking distance. The house had everything we Needed and more. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at the pink door property was wonderful. The location cannot be beat.
Couple the location with the cleanliness and space of the open floor plan; beyond satisfied.
Before arrival, I was slightly concerned with space initially because we had 7 adults and 2 children in our group- however, upon arrival and throughout our week-long stay; it was a non-issue at all as the home is more spacious than the online images convey. Not once was there a time where we felt cramped or otherwise.
Outdoor living space is beyond compare. No other rental property in the area has the outdoor space this property has. The owner did a wonderful job in planning out the living spaces and flow and the fact there is a beautiful and well kept deck in front to view the beach (we lounged here mostly in am and evening) and then midday when the sun was at its full strength, we were either at the beach (literally 6 steps away) or in the very large outdoor space in back yard with 2 large lounge sofas/multiple lounge chairs/umbrellas/fire pit/bbq. A great time! Having these multiple outdoor lounge options allows guests to feel like they are not delegated to staying in one location as I saw other rental properties were. Kudos again to the thought the owner put into when renovating this home.
I cook a lot and we prepared most of our meals in their clean and well stocked kitchen. I suggest bringing your own knives as I always do at rental homes- (as the ones provided are very dull thus dangerous to use) aside from this one minor aspect and non-issue, everything was wonderful.
Our hosts and property management were beyond communicative and professional and helpful! i.e., Our fridge had issues one evening (kept intermittently raising temperature) and management was on it and brought a 2nd fridge to accommodate us so we wouldn’t lose our food and because my father needed to keep medication cold! Wow! Thank you Logan and Kim! The fridge coils were cleaned and then began working in am. This was above and beyond and we are very appreciative of the care and courtesy this management company has for their guests.
We will stay again next year.
