About this house rental
Nestled in Ocean Isle Beach, this lovely house for $625 per night is a great choice for your next break. This is the East Side of a huge oceanfront duplex, each side boasting 2500 square feet of very livable space -5 bedrooms, 5 baths, two large living areas, spacious kitchen and dining, huge front porch, and an extra large private pool that is shared only by the two sides of the duplex. For 2022 rentals, the kitchen has new cabinets and back splash, a new glass-top electric stove and a new French door refrigerator. All bathrooms have new LVT flooring, new and higher vanities, new and higher toilets, and new showers, tubs and faucets. The pool has been completely redone with a new bottom, new tiles, and a new surround. There is a new gas grill. NOTE ONE: FROM THE FIRST SATURDAY IN JUNE THROUGH THE THIRD WEEK OF AUGUST, WE ACCEPT ONLY WEEKLY BOOKINGS THAT RUN SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. FROM SEPTEMBER UNTIL MEMORIAL WEEKEND IN MAY, RESERVATIONS CAN BE ANY NUMBER OF NIGHTS, MINIMUM OF TWO. OUR WEEKLY BOOKINGS DURING THIS PERIOD RUN SUNDAY TO SUNDAY. NOTE TWO: LINENS THE LINENS FEE INCLUDES: READY-MADE BEDS, A BATH AND HAND TOWEL AND WASHCLOTH FOR EACH PERSON. BEACH TOWELS ARE NEVER PROVIDED. Enjoy an unimpeded vista of the Atlantic Ocean's blues and greens from the many windows and porches of this oceanfront house in beautiful Ocean Isle Beach. This lovely home affords large comfortable rooms in its 2500 square feet. Plenty of space for people to gather for fun and fellowship, yet five bedrooms and five baths offer space for privacy as well. Upon arrival, you'll find the beds made with comfy linens and fluffy towels provided (see Note Two). A well-appointed kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook delicious meals. (Want to grill? Underneath the house, you will find both a charcoal grill and a gas grill.) A commercial ice maker provides all the ice you'll need. The large dining table seats ten, and the counter stools add seating for six more. The spacious living area feels even larger with nine-foot ceilings. Need another large space? The second floor sunroom affords ample seating and another TV and, best of all, a wide and unimpeded view of the ocean. The views from the large front porch and second-floor deck are gorgeous. Start off your day sipping coffee while swaying back and forth in the gazebo swing. The oranges and reds of sunrise spell the beginning of a fun and colorful beach day! Whip up a yummy breakfast, then walk down the boardwalk of this mid-island house right onto the soft sands of the widest section of the island's beach. Sunbathe and read, frolic in the tidal pools, body surf or ride the waves on boogie boards. Walk the beach and collect shells for miles in either direction. Want to check on what fisherman are catching? Drop by the pier which is just a five-minute stroll away. Interested in putt-putt, ice-cream, beach shops, restaurants, the coastal museum, or a brand new park? They are all within an easy ten-minute walk from this prime island location. Ready for a dip in fresh water? This house offers one of the largest pools on the island with comfortable lounging chairs surrounding it. Need a beverage? A second refrigerator located in the storage room just outside the pool gate provides ample room for food and drink without having to walk up any stairs! Jump in your car and be off the island in five minutes for grocery shopping at Lowe's or Publix or just down the road a bit to Food Lion. Pick up fresh seafood and local produce to cook at the house. Nearby restaurants offer wonderful and tasty variety on those nights you don't want to cook. Feeling the need to hit a little while ball? Numerous quality golf courses are within a fifteen-minute drive. Visit Myrtle Beach or Wilmington, each only 40 minutes away. As afternoon flows into evening, and air turns mauve in color, hit the beach to experience the magnificent turquoises and purples and fuchsias of sunset. Sit in your beach chair and enjoy the quiet of day's end on the beach. After dinner, go out on the upper deck or boardwalk or back on the beach to marvel at the evening sky with the moon's shine and diamond blinks of thousands of stars. TVs and puzzles and games provide night time entertainment. (On Friday nights in the summer, stroll to the park beside the museum for a free concert featuring live bands and an area for dancing.) Sit on the porch and rock to the rhythm of the ocean waves, relax into the softness of the ocean breeze. Reflect on the end of another perfect Ocean Isle Beach day!

I hate to give this VRBO such a rave review because it may be too popular for us to book next time! Aurora was perfect for our family. It was exceptionally well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, pool loungers and beach chairs. The location was within walking distance of everything. We had a few issues with the unit that could not have been anticipated or avoided, and Cassandra promptly did everything she could to remedy the situations. She was also always available for questions. Everything you could possibly want or need to make your vacation perfect had been thought of and provided. We won't look anywhere else the next time we visit OIB.

This is our 4th year staying at this house. My kids and grand kids love the easy walk to the beach and had hours of fun in the pool. It’s within walking distance to everything. The kitchen is well equipped. Our favorite spot is hanging out on the porch. We’re retuning again next year. It was a wonderful vacation.

The property and house were perfect. Lovely well-kept home, very clean, with beach decor and places to be together or separate. We were always on the back porch, at the beach or pool, or sitting in the swing closer to the beach. So happy we chose this property. We could hear and see the ocean waves which is what I wanted. Ocean Isle Beach is less busy and not as touristy as nearby areas. I would highly recommend this property and will be back to the same place if possible in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Aurora. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but we still enjoyed ourselves. There was plenty of space for everyone and we especially enjoyed the large porch and rockers.
This rental was very well stocked and very clean. The linens were a plus.

It was exactly what we needed for our group of all-ages! There was plenty of space for everyone to do what they enjoyed from playing cards on the cool rainy morning, playing in the pool in the rain why the adults watched from the covered porch, an easy walk to Sunset Slush - a huge hit for all. The house as a whole was stocked well; but, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need (except a Keurig, hint, hint). We will be reaching out to rent it again next year!

This was our first time in OIB and our family absolutely loved the location as well as the house. The bedrooms and private bath for each bedroom was a definite plus. The pool was wonderful. Our family does "Peaks and Pits" on the last evening and I think everyone commented on the house being in a great location with lots of activities nearby and the overall comforts in the house. This was an awesome rental for our family of 10 adults and 4 children. We particularly liked the pool and being right on ocean. Each couple having their own bedroom and bathroom was a priority. We will certainly book this rental again in 2 years when we have a family reunion again.

This was our 3rd year to stay at this house. My family loves to gather on the porch. We all had an amazing time in the pool . The beach is so convenient to walk to. My husband and I loved the early morning walks. Overall it is close to everything and an amazing place to stay. We’re making it a 4th stay next year. We love it here!

We rented both sides of the duplex. Both were great. Multiple families, so together, but separate was nice. Walking distance from shops and activities is awesome. Will stay again.

Best beach vacation
The property was wonderful. All the extra little touches that they had made things even more special. The property was super clean and accommodated our family perfectly with lots of extra room. If it wasn’t for the kids sports next year in the spring we would have rebooked today for next year. The owner of the home was a joy to deal with and communicated and answered all questions. This property was in a great location and you can walk to most places quickly. We look forward to a further stay at this wonderful beach house! We rented both sides of the duplex for our family reunion.
The house and property are in excellent location.
We found the outside property has not been cleaned , broken furniture laying around ( that we put in the trash for pick up). The ocean side door handle needs to be replaced as it cut four people including my husband it is corroded with sharp edges.
The gas grill was absolutely disgusting so we supplied our own.
On the plus side we loved the ice machine and additional refrigerator.
The rooms were dated but clean except for one bathroom next to the master suite the toilet had fowl smell, the master suite toilet had to be fixed which when I called Mark he did take care of it right away.
This owner has supplied all you need as far as dishes and updated kitchen utensils.
The towels and linens were clean and plentiful.
We enjoyed the setup and being right on the beach , as we had all age groups from a one year old , teens, young adults , married adults and two seniors .

This was our second time staying at this property and it is still our favorite! OIB is the perfect vacation spot and the house is within walking distance to the pier, shops, cafes, ice cream, etc. The porches and gazebo facing the ocean are perfect. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. We love everything about the house!
