Beautiful home with fantastic view. Just what we needed. Very clean and well equipped. Thank you!

The stairs of this place are 66 in total and should be listed up front. Very difficult to come and go from place for a person that has had knee problems, children, and adults without stamina. The place is very convenient and has all things a person needs for a vacation. The vrbo people are very nice.

Sadly I can’t write a review of the property itself due to not seeing it.
2 weeks prior to our check in date, my elderly father’s health took a turn for the worse and I realized that I needed to stay home and help as a caregiver. We live in a remote area where the doctors are 2 hours drive one way, and my mother doesn’t drive.
As I knew his health was deteriorating, I purchased trip insurance in case this exact situation happened.
I reached out to the insurance company and was told that I would need a long list of documents, some signed by my father’s physician, in order to file a claim. I also must first cancel the trip through vrbo to proceed with a claim. They suggested that I call vrbo to see if I could get a refund or change my dates as the insurance likely wasn’t going to cover the claim.
I did and was told by vrbo that now it was 13 days prior to check in and I would not receive any refund or be able to change dates. (This is almost 2 weeks prior and it was peak season at Lake Tahoe)
They also informed me that they actually just did the booking and Vacasa was the manager, so I needed to try and get a refund from them instead.
I did contact Vacasa and was told that since vrbo did the booking it was out of their hands.
So I requested to speak to the actual local property manager, or if they could forward my request to the owner. ( I own a rental property in the area and have often made exceptions). I received no refund or date changes. Not even cleaning fee

The view and location of this home cannot be beat. This makes up for what is lacking in the property. If you are considering booking this home know that you will be in a lovely quiet location with very steep stairs down to the front door which will be icey in the winter. The property manager seems to have worked hard to rectify past reviews. The home was clean with newish carpet in most rooms. However, remains of spills and dust behind furniture have been overlooked. The kitchen has beyond basic supplies although mismatched. Be sure to bring a sponge or dishcloths as there were none provided nor extra trash bags. While the bed lines were clean they have been well used and were rough. If you’re picky about bed pillows, bring your own as every single one was old and flat. All of this said we enjoyed our stay.

This way my first time renting a home on vacation, the home was lovely and relaxing. My Girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. I started each day with coffee on the balcony looking out at the trees and the lake. Ended each day sitting on the balcony having wine 🍷 in some of the reviews people complained about all the stairs to the unit. It really isn't as bad as people made it out to be I felt it was like walking to my castle to my place of peace and rest.. next time I come to Lake Tahoe. I want to stay at this beautiful home no reason to look at any place else beautiful large kitchen lots of beautiful appliances everything you need for your family dishes cookware. If it gets too hot, there is fans in the closet little two large rooms, plenty of space to relax and not be in each others way.

1st impression - 60 feet of 6 ft of snow covered walkway to get down to front door. 10 empty drink cans around front door. 5 bags of smelly leaky trash inside the entry way. No dishtowels or sponges and barely any silverware or pots and pans. Frozen dog poop on deck. Other than all that, the house is well laid out and comfortable in a great location. I will not deal with Vacasa again.

Please dont stay here if you care about your life. The place is 50 feet from parking and up a steep incline and the property managers dont shovel so I shoveled and shoveled. Awful experience!! These people dont care about anyone but themselves.

The property overall was everything we were looking for. HOWEVER, the owners of this property seem to have it ran by a management company who is not doing things properly. The only access to the house is down several flights of stairs. We arrived and they were completely covered in snow and ice, you couldnt even see the stairs. It was extremely difficult and dangerous getting all of our luggage down and up the stairs. I was sent HOA paperwork to sign prior to arriving so I assumed the HOA or management company would clear the steps the next day or soon. 3 days went by and I finally messaged via Vrbo app and no response. We then decided to call the management company. They sent one person out who was unable to finish the job due to SO MUCH SNOW . They put snow melt down and then never came back to finish the job. So we were left with half melted, foot high snow filled stairs. VERY DANGEROUS AND COMPLETELY unbelievable that this was left this way. If we had a small child, pregnant person, elderly person, or really anyone other than healthy adults with us- we would NOT be able to access this house. We had to sled down our groceries… not good.
I have messaged the management company several times and heard no response from them via the Vrbo app since leaving to address this.
The house has amazing views and had many bedrooms, large kitchen, many bathrooms to accommodate and were dog friendly. The location was perfect. I would have LOVED to give this place 5 stars, i really did enjoy myself here once inside, but the stairs were just a big issue for us. Also the kitchen really could use updated pots, pans, ect. We made due but basically zero spices and things like that were provided. Not enough toilet paper and paper towels, zero laundry soap or trash bags were provided. The small things like that could have made a nice touch. The beds and living spaces were well furnished though and i felt very at home. The fireplace was lovely and the views unmatched.
I hope that the owners communicate better with their management team in order to make this a safe place for future vacationers and to turn this into a 5 star rental

The location of this property is excellent. The reason for the 3-star review is because this property is not well cared for. The door leading to the deck did not open or close without force. The BBQ outside did not have a battery in the propone tank nor did it have a lighter. The kitchen sink faucet does did not operate property and kept turning on it's own after we shut it down. This home is tired and needs some love. If the owners invested the money to fix this home up, this could became an amazing VRBO. In it's current condition, this is a 3-star accommodation.

The view was amazing and the property accommodated our party of six very comfortably. The house has an 80's vibe that seems to be slowly updating, paint colors etc. could stand a refresh. The home also did not really supply enough basic household needs such as a roll of paper towels, coffee filters (even just 5, enough for our stay,) spices, other than salt and pepper (no sugar or sweeter of any kind,) a small bottle of dishwashing soap, body wash, and a laundry detergent pod. etc. The most disappointing part of the home was the lack of decent/appropriate kitchen gear. We had to go out and buy a stock pot so we could make enough soup for the family (NOT a cheap purchase in Tahoe!) Mix-matched pots/pans (some with the Teflon peeling off,) and just a basic lack of things such as a baking sheet, grater, etc. This house is a nice size and seems built for families so I feel it could be better equipped. Other than that, we all enjoyed out stay.

We have been working non-stop and desperately needed a vacation. We knew we wanted to go to Lake Tahoe and looked at several locations, but we just kept coming back to this house. We are SO glad we chose this property! The location is perfect! There are nearby grocrey stores, restaurants and activities, but the home is in a quiet, clean and lovely complex with pleasant and welcoming neighbors. The views are amazing and the home is very comfortable. It was very easy to find and took no time to acclimate with the area. The property managment company is very courteous and answered our questions quickly. Highly recommend!

Really great family get together home. Easy to get to hikes and local restaurants. Only reason not 5 star; kitchen utensils could use updating, kitchen could use better cleaning i.e. stove the
stairs, put in escalator:).

This is my second stay at this property (initially stayed in Jan 2021). This property has gorgeous views and is spacious. Last year, property needed a lot of work and property management promised improvements. Other guest comments noted same issues with same response from property management.
At check-in, the following was noted:
- kitchen faucet was leaking. the handle would not stay in locked position and would open by itself causing water to run.
- dishwasher bottom rack is missing 2 rollers causing rack to fall off rails
- large couch was covered in large ants. found them in kitchen and on carpet
- pots and pans continue to be old and in terrible condition. Some were missing handles preventing safe drainage of hot water.
- not enough mugs for the max occupancy of the house
- dishes and utensils were greasy at check-in despite being neatly stored.
- significant dust and debris under beds and furniture.
Carpet was replaced in living room and hallways since last visit but bedrooms still have old carpet.
I love the views and layout of this cabin but I am definitely not coming back given that property management still can’t address the same concerns that multiple guests are sharing.

The property is fantastic with a large open area on the second floor combining living, dining, and kitchen while main bedrooms are below. The house was spotless with plenty of towels and amenities, except for a lack of kleenex, which does come in handy at altitude. Good set of utensils, knives, and cooking pans compared to other Tahoe rentals I’ve been in, but you’ll want to bring a pair of scissors, sharp knives, and a can opener if you’re really planning to cook.

The property was beautiful and really enjoyed a snow day in! It was so magical and the space was perfect for our family of 5. The only issue we had was with the fire place. The chimney didn’t work properly when we lit a fire in the fireplace and the house filled with smoke and we couldn’t breathe.

this is a great house with plenty of room for 7 or 8 people. excellent location in incline village with a great view of the lake. BUT...
1) there's no AC and the house gets pretty hot in the afternoon and the bedrooms can get quite stuffy. keep this in mind if you rent during the summer. i actually needed to run to home depot to pick up a portable AC unit.
2) there are stairs. lots of them. from the street, you need to go down a couple of stories to the the main entrance, which is at the lower level. within the house, you need to go upstairs for the kitchen, living room, and one of the bedrooms.
3) the refrigerator was not working well. the freezer stayed frozen for the most part, but the fridge would slowly climb up to 56-58 degrees every day, starting in the mid afternoon. overnight, it would cool back down to 33. vacuuming the coils and setting up a small fan behind the fridge helped ...but not before some of our food became questionable to eat (and our beer too warm to drink!).
