The location is fantastic—situated right between the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace, next to the famous shopping street Calle del Arenal, as well as other shops and cafés. We especially recommend the rooftop terrace café in the same building for breakfast—it offers a charming view of Madrid!
The rooms (we had 2 small rooms) were poorly ventilated and smelled like a toilet, until we aired them out ourselves.

We came to Madrid to go to the theatre and the location of this Hostal was absolutely perfect.
We had a room on the ninth floor and with only one elevator that could only take only four people at a time, going up and down required patience.

Location
The front desk representative was very rude, like automatic. He doesn’t seem to be working with people, very serious. Makes people feel uncomfortable
