About this house rental
Situated in Tybee Island, this charming house for $388 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Situated in a quiet section of Tybee Island's north end, Marsh Mellow is the perfect home for your beach retreat. This newly renovated four bedroom, three-bath home and outdoor shower has direct access to Chimney Creek, a small tidal creek ideal for an afternoon of kayaking and exploring. In the morning, take your cup of coffee out to one of the home's two screened-in porches, both of which come with outdoor furniture and spectacular creek views. The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing a family meal, which can be enjoyed at the dining table with seating for eight, along with the breakfast bar that seats two. The home boasts a comfortable living room with two sofas, with a decorative fireplace, flat screen TV and room to seat six on two sofas. At the end of the day, choose to retire to the comfort of the primary bedroom, with its king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen sized bed, a third bedroom with a full bed and a fourth bedroom with a queen sized bed. The home features a lovely yard, ideal for playing lawn games like badminton, bocce or croquet. Or, take in a bit of sun on the home's small dock, which features three chairs to lounge on. A hot tub is available for your enjoyment as well as an outdoor shower for cleaning off after the beach. There is also a charcoal grill for additional cooking. This property will permit up to 2 dogs for an additional pet-fee of $114, as long as they are on flea medication. No events with a higher number of guests than the occupancy of the house are permitted and there is a minimum age requirement of 25 for renters. There is off street parking for a maximum of 3 to 4 cars. As our gift to you for booking with us, we offer free admission to select Tybee attractions. Called the Xplorie Program, our guests will receive one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like dolphin tours, bike rentals and kayak rentals. This place was great for a quiet private stay with family and friends. I spent 3 nights here and the location was great for walking to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The hot tub was nice and it was great to watch the tide come in and out in the creek in the back yard on the dock.

Very green in Tybee. Other popular locations are houses on a big sand dune islands. Largest bedroom has shower, tub, double sinks and walk-in closet. Close enough to Savanah. Not commercialized. Lots of golf cart renters.

Perfectly lovely getaway nestled in Tybee Island
Quiet, spacious, and well-appointed. I loved sitting on the screened-in porch reading books and watching the egret dive for fish in the marsh. Almost no noise other than birds, fish, and a breeze. Everything was pretty nice and the house is in good shape.

My family and I spent 2 days here. The house was very clean and had a fantastic outdoor screened-in porch. The kitchen is fully equipped and met our cooking needs. Toiletries were provided too. All of us agreed our beds were comfortable and my dad said multiple times he was impressed with all the TVs LOL. They also have a very clean hot tub (I tend to be picky on pools/hot tubs if they are old or dirty), but it was too hot to enjoy it unfortunately. This would be perfect for colder weather. Plenty of space for 4 people plus a 1 year old. The location was very ideal for experiencing Tybee Island, but also only a 20-25 minute drive to Savannah. I guess my only 'complaint' is the late check in time (5pm) and still having to pay for the full day. I would definitely stay here again for my next visit though!

Great family escape
We had a wonderful time staying at this house on Tybee. Plenty of room for three couples and close to the beach, with a well equipped kitchen. It was exactly what we were looking for as a family vacation during these Covid-19 times. Thank you!

Marsh Mellow is the best beach house! It's so sunny, bright, and welcoming that you feel like you are on vacation right away. Very well-equipped and extremely comfortable furnishings, from the living areas to the bedrooms and baths. Beautiful view of the marsh and easy walking distance to anything you want - beach, restaurants, dog park, etc.

Marsh Mellow is the best beach house! It's so sunny, bright, and welcoming that you feel like you are on vacation right away. Would stay again!
We really enjoyed this beautiful house on Tybee! The house was very clean and nestled in a nice quiet neighborhood. The screened in porches were probably the best thing about the property, a lot of time was spent there in the morning and evenings listening to the sounds of the marsh. We highly recommend to anyone and will definitely look this property again if we venture back to Tybee.

Lovely home in a great location
Marsh Mellow was the perfect getaway home for a wonderful week at Tybee. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated, and well equipped for all of our needs. It was so lovely to sit on the screened porch listening to the sounds of the marsh. The north beach is a 10-minute walk or a quick drive away, and there are several restaurants nearby. We were happy to be able to bring our dog along...she enjoyed the visit as well. Thanks for a great stay. We'll be back next year!

Relaxing getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. The house has great outdoor spaces and nice treats we weren’t aware of like the TV downstairs with the hot tub and the nice office space where I went to do a little work. The house has a very homey vibe and we loved the tranquil views of the marsh. Only thing to note is that the coffee maker uses coffee pods, so make sure to bring those as the only grocery store on the island doesn’t open until 8:30!

The Marsh Mellow was a wonderful retreat. Location was ideal, as was the home. Loved the outdoor space and the platform dock. Very easy walk to the beach. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful House, Well-suited to our needs
The house was very beautiful and well-kept, exceeded expectations. We stayed there with a family of 6 and had more than enough space, it was very comfortable. The house is much bigger than it seems in the pictures! The hot tub was awesome and we really enjoyed the screened in porches and the view. Great location, walking distance to the beach!
