We had a great time at Sam's Kits House. The property was immaculate and in a great location to explore the Kitsalono neighbourhood, beaches and easy to get downtown when we wanted to. We had 6 people in the house and there were ample bedrooms and bathrooms for our group. We enjoyed the outdoor patio space for dinner and breakfasts and would recommend this spot for anyone wanting to be in the Kitsalano area. Thank you Sam.

I can’t say enough about this property. It was absolutely gorgeous, immaculate, and everything it promised. The neighborhood was perfect. We were walking distance to anything we needed, including the gorgeous beach and a short drive to all the sights. The location can’t be beat. The home is stocked with everything you need (even for a coffee snob like me😊). We were traveling with our 18yo and 16yo daughters. Everyone had a nice space to retreat to when needed. There were lots of little comfortable spots to hang out. I especially enjoyed the upper deck. My girls felt comfortable and right at home. Sam was very receptive and quick to respond, although he was so thorough we didn’t need much of anything. He left a great book of recommendations and had very reasonable requests for check-in and check-out, which we appreciated. We will definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you Sam! My husband said this was our best family vacation!

We spent a week in August 2022. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood, very close to 2 grocery stores (Whole Foods and Safeway) as well as to the beach; and lots of restaurants in the area. It has a detached garage, so you will not have to look for street parking. We enjoyed spending time on the patio off the living room. The house has all the amenities one would need to make it feel like home. Sam (the property manager) is very responsive (we had a missing garage door remote and he stopped by and delivered a new one within 1 hour of me messaging him). Will definitely come back next time we're in Vancouver.

Beautifully renovated old home in a nice neighborhood. We really enjoyed the back porch. We happened to be there on an unseasonably hot weekend so our third floor got hot, but the fans served us pretty well. Sam, the host was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Best place in Kits!
My wife and I stayed at Sam’s place in Kits for one month. Kits is the place to be to experience Vancouver at its best. Close to the downtown core but with a village-like atmosphere and spectacular parks and beaches at your doorstep. Sam’s place is in the center of it all. A few blocks from the great shops and restaurants on 4th Avenue and a 10 minute walk to Kits Beach. The house itself has been lovingly restored and renovated in 2018 and divided into 3 units. We stayed in the 3BR top floor apt. (very quiet and no noise between units). Everything is as pictured in the photos. Furnishings and finishing are first rate and of a quality unusual for a short term rental. No cutting corners here! Sam was a great host. He responded to inquiries and questions in a few minutes and was very attentive. All in all a great experience and we will definitely make this our first choice as a place to stay when we’re back in town.

Lovely place for a family get away!
We were extremely impressed with this Vancouver property - it was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for our 10 day stay with our twin daughters.
Sam was very responsive to all of our questions and we felt very at home in his cozy townhome. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

Kits condo
The suite is in a triplex overlooking a back alley so not much privacy. It was clean and nicely decorated. The outside area could use a spray down and the kitchen was missing some items (can opener). Sam was a great host, very responsive-providing a large outdoor umbrella and broom as requested. Beware of the upstairs bathroom window when showering. It does not provide privacy.
Overall we do recommend this property and Sam as a host.

Beautiful house!
We are a family of 6 and we had lots of space and felt very comfortable in this house. The location is great. There are lots of restaurants nearby, grocery store, and the area felt safe to walk around in. Check in and out process was easy and communication with Sam was great. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

Great location
Overall we had a great stay at the townhome in Kitsilano. We loved the location because there were great shops and restaurants close by. Also it was great to be close to the water. Our kids loved the upstairs loft bedroom too! A few things that could have made our stay perfect: more comfortable seating in the living room and dining room, and some blankets to cozy up on those rainy nights.

Exactly as described!
This property was absolutely perfect for our week stay in Vancouver! If you enjoy being close to the beach and only a walk away from amenities, this place is for you! The suite is clean and perfectly outfitted for temporary visitors. Everything seemed brand new and in well working order. I have nothing critical to say at all.

We loved unit 2 - Super clean and cute! Comfy beds - well laid out - kitchen had everything we needed including coffee grinder, coffee maker, and blender. Very quiet! Must be able to walk some stairs to gain entrance.
