Excellent location, friendly staff, close to restaurant. Room was compact but clean and modern.
A slightly bigger room would have been nice.

The reception staff were always friendly, polite and helpful.
The young women serving breakfast were also lovely.
To the hotel's credit, we were moved to a room with air conditioning in the newer part of the hotel for our second night. These rooms are normally much more expensive, but we weren't charged extra, which we appreciated.
The newer section felt like a completely different hotel and was a significant improvement over the older part
The first room in the older part of the hotel was extremely uncomfortable. Although it was a little warm outside, it certainly wasn't a heatwave, yet the room became unbearably hot. Fans were provided, but they were very poor quality and made little difference.
The first room also had almost no water pressure.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. The rooms were supposed to be serviced daily, but on one day our room was simply forgotten.
Breakfast lacked consistency. Ordering the same item on different mornings sometimes resulted in a meal that was literally half the size, which was frustrating.
Considering the price we paid, I expected a much better overall experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
