My daughter, S-i-L & 10 & 5 year old girls stayed 4 nights. We live a couple blocks away & it was great for them and us to have 'quiet time' at the end of each active day. No kitchen but a microwave & fridge was fine--as att meals were available at my place. They thought of it as their 'family cave'--small and cozy and quiet--everyone slept well!

The apartment is in an amazing location, everything is exactly as described, Andy is awesome and it was super safe. His tour is outstanding and he knows his city so well. I loved walking around the neighborhood and the adjacent ones. So beautiful!! Every kind of restaurant you could imagine within blocks or doordash, nightlife close enough by but this property up the hill a couple of blocks is serene and with breathtaking views. Parking was easy and again, Andy knew exactly where and when to part so having a car was also very easy. The Castro was a great place to be and experience.

Loved this place! It’s the perfect little San Francisco rental. Has everything you need and then some. Andy was kind and helpful! We’re from SF, so didn’t need all the services he offers to his guests, but he still checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. It was wonderful!

Andrew is the perfect host - picked us up at the airport after a long flight and gave us an entertaining tour of the neighbourhood. The apartment is perfectly situated on an elegant SF sloping street- just like in the movies. Really good experience in all respects.

The place is small and nicely appointed.The neighborhood is friendly and the city is fun. Andy was an awesome host. He picked us up even when we were coming in on different flights and those flights were delayed multiple times. He checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable.

The property was great. Exactly as listed, and no issues at all. The area has everything you need from food, coffee, alcohol and entertainment. Andrew is an absolutely wonderful host. He showed us around the property, and then toured us around the neighborhood. He even did our laundry! Great place to stay in SF.

From start to finish staying at Andy’s VRBO was truly a pleasure. Andy transported us both ways from the airport and gave us a lively, fun tour of the neighborhood. He also checked in with us to make sure we had all we needed. The apartment was homey and conveniently located to get anywhere we liked in minutes. The beds were super comfy. Lots of restaurants in close proximity and access to public transportation just steps away. We will stay there again next time we are in San Francisco.

Great base for a weekend getaway in San Francisco. Bus stop across the street, street car and subway a couple blocks away down the hill. Abundant good restaurant and cafe options within a short walk in the neighborhood. Andy was a great host: he picked us up from the airport, checked in with us to make sure we were having a good weekend, and even washed our laundry!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at Andy’s place! He’s so knowledgeable about San Francisco and made our stay so easy by explaining everything about his property up front and picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. If you want to be close to everything, this is the place to stay. We easily found Ubers or walked everywhere. This property was plenty of space for two couples and featured a nice big bathroom. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful 10 day stay at this property. Everything is as listed and house and neighborhood have SO much real San Francisco style. Transportation is east to get to. The rental is clean and comfortable. Host is amazing.

The location is outstanding and parking is not an issue. The property was a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures online but it was fine. The host was very helpful and gave us a short tour of the surrounding neighborhood with general information about the city thrown in. We would stay there again.

Andy picked us up from the ferry and gave us a tour of the city on the way to his house and pointed out things to see and do. When we had a few questions during our stay he was happy to answer them and accommodate us. He definitely went above and beyond. As for the place, it is the lower floor of an old Victorian house easy walking distance to restaurants in the Castro. Since it is San Francisco the space is a bit quirky but charming with low ceilings as one would expect from a 100 year old Victorian. It is very clean and comfortable but it is not fancy. It is perfect for a family of three or four and MUCH better than a hotel and at a lower price point. The location in the Castro is a $10-$15 Uber from anywhere in the city and it is safe even at night. You are also very close to the Market Street trolly and numerous bus routes. In short the location is ideal for exploring the entire city. We are already planning on coming back in a few months and Andy’s place will be where we stay in San Francisco form here on. Solid accommodations with a great host for a fair price. Can’t ask for much more than that.
