静かでゆっくりと家族とペットで滞在できました。必要な設備が揃っていて綺麗に整理されていました。トイレなど水回りも清潔でした。

ケトルや電子レンジ用のコンセントが近くにあるとより使いやすいです。

Got togo back some time with more companions so we can enjoy nature

The scenery was beautiful and ambiance is great

Views of the place were excellent. Convenient location. Projector was great for a movie night.

Placed lacked basic things I usually get from a cottage for this price like cooking oil, salt and pepper, basic condiments,coffee and tea. There was rotting oysters/food left in the microwave from the last guests and it smelled bad, so we didn't use it.

Family mountain cottage fun with onsen

good location and view in nature, mountain cottage and indoor they had cool set-up. bedrooms and beds/futons very clean. overall has a lot of potential despite some parts being old.

They’re offering BBQ which by default means people will be cutting things and need serving plates. they didn’t have serving plates and kitchen set-up was a bit limited. they should stock more serving plates and salad bowls, and maybe extra glasses/cups for wine / water and it would be just right!

the view was good and the location was also perfect for a short trip

The manager of the property was very rude and we also didn't like the way of treating the customers. The utensils in the kitchen was dirty and the bbq space was small for 7 of us

Should have been better for the money

Property was close enough to everything if you drive otherwise would have been a pain had we depended on a bus (half a mile walk to the main road). Staff were friendly and responded when needed. It was really clean. The onsen worked well as long as you drained it halfway and gave it time to fill up before using it (required preplanning).

Whoever took the photos of the room, made the property look phenomenal when it was just ok. The room looked like a converted basement to the residence. During our stay there were several spiders and bugs in the room. The humidifier and AC was unable to get the humidity down to an acceptable level until two days in (need an additional humidifier and it needs to be running well before quests arrival) also for the money the grill and fire pit should be included (it would have been an additional charge with 3 days notice). Also while the property was very clean the vent above the cooktop was disgusting. As we were on the bottom floor we had kids banging around at 0630 in the am above us. If this were 1/2 to 3/4 of the price we paid I would have probably called it a deal but as it was I’d have to say we overpaid.

Great onsen all to ourselves, cozy and comfortable, great mountain views and excellent access!

We loved our own onsen! The views were also amazing and even though it rained all day we could cozy up and enjoy games, movies and reading, and of course the onsen. Great access to a lot of restaurants while still being set apart from the busyness of Hakone. Will definitely visit again!

Peaceful location, helpful hosts

The hosts here are very helpful and accommodating, and quick to respond to questions. This is my second time staying here and many improvements have been made at the property, including a very nice outdoor sitting area. The location is very beautiful and peaceful, and the accommodations are comfortable and well-decorated. The hot spring bath is wonderful. I love that they allow pets! We have brought our small dog with us twice.

This is not their fault really, but the house rules say no parties and quiet time after 10, but the renters of another part of the house were very loud during our last stay, yelling (not exactly "singing") karaoke well after quiet hours. The host was available even that late and contacted the renters of the other side of the house and they turned off the music, so I appreciated the quick response. The house is divided into 4 potential rental areas, but it is hard to fit parking for 4 cars in the space allotted - so it was an easier situation the first time we visited, when we were the only guests. The cleaning fee is a bit pricey.

Great place to stay escape from the city life

It’s big and nice for group of friends to chill and hang out. You can do BBQ there as well. Quiet and the design is super cute ( like a hunter cottage ). The host is super nice as well, offer the ride to the station when we had the day trip around the hakone.

It is a little far from the bus station and the walk to the property is hilly

Good

The Onsen was cool, but the shower area and bathroom did not appear to be cleaned. Not sure if the bedrooms were clean either. We found hair that was not ours in the bathroom and bedrooms.

It was advertised to have a washer & Dryer, which it did not. A lot of construction at the bottom of the house as well was unsightly.
