The whole building hums to the sound of the air conditioning. We had to change rooms to find one that didn't hum, even if we switched off the air conditioning in the room. A bland, average hotel.

Ok, but room cleaning needs to be better

location of the hotel, transport interchange, within walking distance to all locations, breakfast was normal

dirty in the rooms, poor cleaning, dust everywhere, glasses are not washed or changed, the bed had a very bad smell, water was leaking out in the shower all the time

The location is very good, plus the cleaning. The people in the reception are also very kind.

The pillow is no good, the blanket should be a big one for couple instead two small ones. The breakfast is no good, with too many "dirty food".

The location of this hotel was excellent. Would stay here again no problem if back in Helsinki.

Location was excellent. I didn't have the breakfast so I cannot tell about the food. The staff were very friendly and professional. I had a taxi booked for each morning of my stay and the staff at reception arranged this for me.

Bar / restaurant closed on Monday evening when I arrived.

I've stayed in this hotel twice because of needing to catch an early bus from Kampi, and it is convenient for the railway station as well, and there is a network of attractive streets around it with independent shops and so on. The rooms are large and comfortable with good sound insulation and blackout curtains. The breakfast is excellent -- delicious ryebread and pickled fish and one or two vegan options also. Access to the sauna is included in the price.

The price varies; if you can get it at say 100-120 Euro (e.g. on weekend rates) the value is good, but 150 Euro looks steep, especially as room facilities are limited (e.g. no tea- and coffee-making facilities, very expensive mini-bar, some wear to the decoration). If you can't make the buffet breakfast, the substitute packed one is disappointing (start time at weekends is 7.30, so if you need to leave earlier than that, I would advise going without).

Nice stay at a great location.

I like the location, it is quiet even though ot is in the city center.

The room and the sauna facility is outdated and should be cleaner. The room was alright.

Clean, efficient, friendly and in a great location.

The room was well laid out, clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the staff were very helpful. The location was also very good with a shopping mall behind the hotel and is also only 400m from the main train station.

The shower was difficult to use without splashing all over the bathroom - attributable to the design of the shower splash guard. There was one switch on the headboard that 'turned off' the whole room, including the air-conditioning - a very strange design.

Reasonable

Very clean and had a room to store your luggage. Location to Helsinki city centre is amazing.

Arrived at 13 and got told I can’t check in until 15. Early check in would of been 15 euros!! The soap dispensers in the toilet were all loose and pumps did not work correctly.

Not worth the price

The position is almost perfect, near the Central Station. All the rest was not up to the price.

Parking is very very expensive. Hotel was dirty. Our room was small, with even a smaller bathroom, with a very inconvenient shower, small and unfunctional, with the water that goes all over the bathroom. Breakfast was apparently mixed and assorted... but we stayed at several different Scandic hotels in different cities, and all of them had exactly the same breakfast... which after only a few days became like a standardized mcdonalds meal, we ended up eating the same things every morning, and discovered that the assortment was not well varied.

All pretty basic equipment. Breakfast has just black coffee, no espresso or latte and finishes at 10am, which is a bit early.
