The location of the accommodation is brilliant. It's under palm trees right by the sea. You feel like you're in a palm garden right by the sea. It is beautiful and very quiet, pure relaxation.
The staff are very helpful and very friendly. Mr. Kavindu Nimes was particularly helpful. He helped us quickly and very well with many things.

Facilities are a bit dated for what you are paying. Whilst you can expect bugs since the property is set between nature, the bathroom and room had many cob webs.
Restaurant food is very expensive and quite basic- you are charged in USD. Much better to walk to nearby restaurants for better cuisine.

Beach very close,but view of Beach from many rooms is BLOCKED by TREES & PLANTS..so even if you booked sea view room, NO guarantee that YOU get clear view of Sea..Water supply was problem but then resolved after some time.restaurant With sea View. Wat een heerlijke plek, heerlijke huisjes aan het strand. Echt tot rust gekomen.
Mijn ouders waren zoveel jaar getrouwd en hebben een diner aan het strand gearrangeerd. Heel veel dank aan manager Taranga. Super gastvrij en stond altijd voor de gasten klaar.

Der Strand ist wunderschön und die Cabana am Meer ist wahnsinnig schön. Entspannung pur!
Das Essen im Restaurant war nichts besonderes. Eher langweilig und teuer.

Werkelijk fantastische locatie aan het strand. Kleine eenvoudige huisjes verspreid tussen de palmen, hangmatten en schommelbankjes. Leuk centraal restaurant met wederom fantastisch uitzicht op t strand en de zee. Leuk om te eten (redelijk eten behoorlijk aan de prijs) wat te drinken of voor een spelletje. Vriendelijk personeel. Tip: even verderop kun je ook leuk zotten en eten bij The Lounge waar je middels een pontje komt.
De huisjes zijn compact en redelijk schoon. Onderhoud kan wat aan verbeterd worden. Wel een leuk zitje onder de afdak en een hangmat. Wij hadden s ochtends een wasje laten doen deze kwam niet volgens afspraak de zelfde avond terug maar pas de volgende ochtend toen we weer verder zouden gaan.

Kompleks domków i apartamentów położonych w niesamowitym miejscu. Bardzo ładnie wręcz bajkowo. Domki różnych standardów oraz w różnej odległości od oceanu. Obok hotel tego samego właściciela, gdzie znajduje się basen z którego można korzystać.
Niestety jest sporo braków - domki w kiepskim stanie. Sporo robactwa w tym karaluchy i zdarzył się szczur który co wieczór odwiedziła domek w poszukiwaniu jedzenia. Restauracja która jest na terenie obiektu ma bardzo wysokie ceny - wystarczy wyjść z terenu hotelu i można zjeść dużo taniej. Zdarzały się problemu z ciepłą wodą. I ku przestrodze innym domki położone blisko oceanu - w nocy mega hałas od wody. Ocean jest cały czas wzburzony a w domku do tego jeszcze jest efekt dudnienia co może zaburzać sen.

Die Anlage liegt direkt am Meer. Alles sehr sauber und sind sehr bemüht. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Hunde am Strand sind sehr freundlich und nicht viele 2-3 Hunde die täglich kommen.

Unfortunately a somewhat mixed stay. Although the resort was indeed very idyllic and the staff were for the most part very friendly,…
…the room occupancy was obviously cheated. The deluxe double room with frontal sea view shown in the photos was not (or no longer) available in the entire complex. Instead, they tried to put us in a cheaper room with a side view to the sea (which could be booked separately on Booking for less). In the end, we got a room at the neighboring Marakolliya Beach Resort, which has probably been taken over by the Ganesh Garden Beach Cabanas in the meantime. Unfortunately, the rooms there don't have the same charm as the cabanas and are rather unadorned without any decoration.
A small detail with a negative aftertaste: Breakfast is marked at 4€ p.p. on Booking, but the bill came to 6$y When asked, this was explained as a "business trick", but after a short discussion it was corrected.

Die Lage war wirklich direkt am Strand. Man ist zum Meeresrauschen eingeschlafen. Das Personal insbesondere an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns auch bei Erlebnissen außerhalb des Hotels sehr weitergeholfen. Es wurden unsere Transfers organisiert und die Kommunikation vor Ort abgewickelt. Zudem waren außergewöhnlich gute Englischkenntnisse vorhanden. Eine Kommunikation war daher problemlos möglich. Dies hat unseren Urlaub zum Schluss nochmals echt aufgewertet.

We had one of the 4 cabanas which opened up directly onto the beach. Not a swimming beach but the swimming pool was excellent. Staff went out of their way to make improvements. Felt like it was a new season starting and they were not quite up to speed. The location at the end of the road from Tangalle was perfect. Sea on one side and lagoon on the other. Beyond the hotel there was 5 kms of virtually empty beach to enjoy. Other hotels were discreetly hidden away. Food was good. There were other places to eat next to the beach too. Enjoyed kayaking on the lagoon.
Hot water was not so hot. Seemed to be a problem with the solar panel which I hope they have been able to sort out.

Miła obsługa. Jedzenie w hotelu bez zastrzeżeń, ale drogo, my stołowaliśmy się 200m dalej restauracji w "LITTLE PUMPKIN" przy mostku, co wszystkim serdecznie doradzam, gdzie wszystkie dania są perfect szczególnie krewetki.
Plaża piękna szeroka, pusta, bezkresna, woda ciepła, basen czysty, WIFI powinno być mocniejsze! Miejscowe psy nie były zbyt przeszkadzające.
Łóżka z materacami, huśtawki i hamaki -super!!! Ludzi mało w listopadzie 2023, plaża czysta, sprzątana.
Domek z klimątyzacją mocno zużyty, brak widoku na morze - zasłaniają go palmy i roślinność ogrodu. To nie jest wcale złe, daje cień.

The place looked very nice and we did relax. It is a little bit secluded and there is the last 300m of unpaved road to get to Ganesh’s place. It was very clean (we came during off season so few tourists were there). It was peaceful and relaxing.
The room was big enough and clean.
Since our room was further away from the beach, you could not hear the waves and during the night it was quiet.
If you stay in cabanas on the beach, please note that you could hear the waves with more intensity.
There was a pool - it was a selling point to us as we were not able to swim in the beach (strong currents and we did not go further to a part of the beach that was swimmable)
The bathroom is very basic (it could be better with a window cover).

The garden around the cabins is gorgeous and well maintained; there are pleny of hammocks and spots to chill out, as well as sunbeds. The restaurant-bar area is a ver well set wooden cabana . The staff made everyhting possible to pamper us, even added a minibar thar was not originally part of our reserved room-type. The swimming pool (shared with nextdoor same owner hotel) is a perfect infinity pool with a bar and has three great fresh water showers. Perfect strolls on endless beaches.
The wi-fi is really weak. Don't even try to be a digital nomad here.
We would have appreciated some advice as to where to swim, ... as much as the beach is pristine, the rocks and currents make it literally impossible to swim or even enter a bit in the ocean.
They took hours to prepare the final bill, despite the fact that we timely informed our chek.out time, they had us waiting for 20 minutes, and the taxi was already there.

Very calm atmosphere around the resort a lot of places to lay down and enjoy the sun.
Was the nicest place to stay in around the area, we have been taking the walks around and honestly if you want to stay in this area- this is the place.
Room service only every 3 days. We have checked out on the 4th day and there was no room service all the time we stayed.
In the room we have stayed that we were not aware of, was above the restaurant. If we were to stay there next time I think I would recommend staying in beach front cabanas.
Also be aware if you are paying by card there will be additional 3% card charge that is not stated anywhere on booking.com or at the time of the check in.

Location was absolutely stunning and probably the best of our trip to Sri Lanka.
The room was a good size with mosquito nets and right on the beach with a great view from the door. There was also a new sister hotel next door with a great pool, pool bar and restaurant that we had full access too which made this stay even better!
Service was outstanding and the staff even purchased a new sports channel while we stayed so we could watch a premier league football match during our stay.
Would be better if there was air conditioning in the room and wifi was a little weak in the cabanas.

The hotel is real nice, feet in the water , feel like jungle in the beach.

You can use the pool of the hotel next door which belong tho the same group (infinity pool on the beach really nice !)
Didn’t pay attention and booked the “side sea view” cottage Instead of sea view, it was really far on the side, so much you cannot see it .
Room was very dark without anything to make it feel comfortable. Very bare minimum in there.
For that price I expected more.

It is in a beautiful location, right on the beach. We moved around a couple of places in Sri Lanka and this was the most beautiful beach we saw! The hotel is also convenient walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and other parts of the beach. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and arranged a day trip for us as well as scooter hire and taxis when needed. The pool area is also lovely!
The only small thing we’d say is there isn’t a lot of storage in the bedroom for clothes etc, but it’s a very minor thing and overall we absolutely loved this hotel and our stay there!!
